How do they sound in a door?

I have a 96 s10 and the hardware in my door rattles with it installed. So, in my experience, they sound terrible in the doors. I did put them in a box and they sound amazing for a pair of 6.5s

They are good on factory amp but with the increased power, they are stellar.I had mine running 24hz to 86 hz with 30 db/octave high pass and 24 db/octave low pass xovers on the match 7. Absolutely accurate, no cone distortion, just absolutely transparent and unlocalizable bass.

Hi I purchased the pair of sws 6.5x which are single 4 ohms coil the sws 8.are also has a single voice coil, but at 2 ohms each. You can double check at amazons web site. Worth the upgrade if you really like to feel the music.
