Absolutely amazing!
If you are looking for a powerful thrower at a cheap price, you have found the perfect choice. This flashlight utilizes a 21700 Lithium-ion battery, which does not come included but is rather easy to find.Performance - This flashlight is very bright, I can see things that are 1-800 meters away very clearly. It holds its lumens very well, balancing out at about ~900 lumens for 2 and a half hours. It controls heat well, it only starts to get hot after about 2 minutes of turbo. As the heat of the flashlight increases, the lumens drop. Theres no need to worry about this though, as this is a feature that is built into the flashlight as a means to protect it.User interface - This flashlight comes with the 12 group UI. If you are unfamiliar with it, you can select different groups with different light levels. Heres an exampleGroup 1 - (0.1%-1%-10%-35%-100%)These percentages represent how much light is being produced by the flashlight. 100% means that you are using the max brightness, while 35% means you are only using 35% of the max brightness. You can choose between various groups that have various light levels. The different groups are shown in the description. In order to turn on the flashlight, you need to do a full press. To switch to different levels of brightness you have to do a half press (pressing on the light switch softly). Each half press will move up a brightness level. The flashlight has mode memory, meaning that it will save your last used brightness mode (if you were using 10% when you turned it on, it will turn on at that brightness level). If you want to, you can also turn off mode memory. This will cause your flashlight to turn on at the first brightness level in the group that you have chosen.Beam pattern/color - On a white wall, the light has a hint of blue which is not visible when being used elsewhere like in an outside environment. The light is very concentrated, meaning that most of the light is in a small circle. This is not a bad thing at all though, as there is still a lot light that surrounds the concentrated light. The concentrated light also helps to improve how far the light travels. An example of how the beam looks is how an egg that has been cracked and placed in a dish looks. The yolk is the concentrated light while the egg whites are the surrounding weaker light.Ergonomics/Appearance - This flashlight feels great in the hand, and the knurling is perfect. The threads are oiled well, meaning that no noise is made when trying to replace the battery of the flashlight. The size of flashlights is not too big nor small, but you will be unable to carry it in your pocket due to the large head size. You can purchase a holster for the flashlight separately for easier carry, but they do not sell it on amazon.Durability - The flashlight is made out of aircraft grade aluminum, meaning that it is very strong. Just be careful when dropping it as it can land on the glass lens and crack it. The flashlight seems quite waterproof as I have dropped it a few times into water and it has been fine. Just make sure to keep the o-rings in place and not take them out.The only thing in the way from making this the best, low-cost thrower is the lack of built in charging. If you want to charge the flashlight, you will need to buy a lithium-ion battery charger. You can also use another flashlight with built in charging in order to charge the battery. In conclusion, this is the best cheap thrower currently in the market. You will not find any other thrower as good as this one at the same or similar price. Mark my words when I say that. This is likely the highest value flashlight I will ever own. Convoy is one of the best flashlight companies in the entire flashlight industry.

Saved me and my truck
Soon into my foray into the enthusiast world of flashlights, I found out about throwers. The L21B is regarded as one of the best budget throwers, providing a useful throw of up to a kilometer. If you've never used a proper enthusiast flashlight, this will blow everything else you've ever seen out of the water. It comes with a well balanced 6500k SFT40 emitter, with excellent regulation, allowing this light to run for a very long time before heating up to the point it needs to step down. If you use this flashlight at night, especially when it's humid, you will be able to see this flashlight's beam extending far out, like a lightsaber, pictured in the attached image. It's more practical than just the well defined hotspot, though. As a consequence of the reflector, there is a decent spill around the hotspot, also pictured. This allows you to scan for things while using the hotspot to focus on points of interest. Like I said in the title, this thing saved me. I was driving offroad and got hopelessly stuck in the mud, right before I got off the trail and onto pavement. This flashlight carried me through the incident, helping after we called a tow truck, providing the illumination needed to escape without damage. Highly recommended.Sidenote: This flashlight doesn't come with a battery, and is unable to charge batteries itself. You will need to purchase a 21700 battery and charger seperately. I highly recommend either the molicel p42a, p45b, or the p50b (if available). These types of batteries are not sold on amazon, so you will need to go through a dedicated site. I used 18650batterystore, where I picked up a 1 bay charger alongside the battery for very cheap.

Beam and lumen comparable to the Thrunite Catapult Pro. Ui is a B- / C+. Good value torch.
UI was finicky on mine. Beam is tighter than the Thrunite Catapult Pro, with lumen being very similar. Obviously the Thrunite UI is superior to this torch. I suspect reliability would be too, however for the value, this torch does throw very well. Emitter cast is perfectly round. IMO, decent spot with very very minimal spill and exceptional distance. A good contender to the Thrunite at 1/2 price. With all things considered.

Amazing flashlight for the price.
This flashlight is great for seeing really long distances away and for the price I don’t think you can get much better of a flashlight in my opinion. If I were to go back and needed another one of these flashlights, I would purchase it again 100% of the time. It is honestly shocking how good of a flashlight. It is build materials and quality wise and also performance wise for the price.

Great light
Super long throw, has a well focused beam and very bright. Half click the rear button to change brightness modes. Full click for on/off.Takes 21700 batteries.

Hard to beat for the price
Mainly just bought this to keep around the house "just in case". Selected this due to the fact it uses rechargabe 21700 batteries. Works great so far although I just received it.It can use either flat top or button head protected 21700's as I have tried both without issue. The brightness is actually quite good for the price. My only wish would be if the beam focus could be adjustable which it isn't. No big deal, but it would have been nice to have.
