How does this smell? Other "drawing salves" have comments about very strong odors.

I noticed that some buyers of Rite Aid Salve complain of the odor. I personally, say that as long as it works "who cares". I did not find the smell that bad or offensive.MJ

What are the other ingredients listed on this product?

Petrolatum - basically an emollient base.Bis-Diglyceryl Polyacyladipate-2-I can't find the exact function, but it is included in every skin cream and lip balm. I have to assume it is one of the many moisturizers. However, i am not a chemist and may be way off base.Ichthammol - a drawing salve used as a wound healer/protector in animals (20 % strength) - used primarily for boils in humans (10% stength)Hope this helps.

Can I apply this on pubic area

It works great on boils in the groin area(along the crease where your underpants edges sit.) I use the ichthammol and often cover it with a band aid overnight (leave underwear off.) Ichthammol draws out the gunk in the boil. May have to use a few times. I have never used in the vaginal area directly. It is a great salve for drawing out any time of infection, so it speeds up healing.

Is this product good for cystic acne?

I don’t know about it’s effectiveness on acne, but it worked a miracle on a boil/cyst I had appear in the underside crease of my breast. Within 24 hours the marble sized cyst had come to a head, and with a few wipes, was draining. Within two days, all pus was gone and healing started. Kept the area clean, sprayed with antibiotic stuff called dermaplast. After a week, the pea size hole was closing, and within a month, was healed closed.
