I needed to raise and better position my handle bar on an Aventon Adventure 2 for more riding comfort. I selected this model stem because it looked like the one sold by the bike manufacturer.The installation was straightforward and everything fit with no problem. The front half of the original handle bar bracket has protrusions on the lower two holes for mounting the headlight. This original front half lined up perfectly with the new rear half, so I used it with the new rear piece to remount the light. The new bracket screws are larger and the two lower screws must be longer because of the extra distance required to accommodate the light. I purchased two M6 X 1 screws at Lowes to finish the installation. The holes in the original front bracket half did not have to be enlarged to use the larger screws.

A great way to lift your handlebars

I installed this on my Aventure 2 e-bike. It seems to be well made and installed easily, But I can't seem to tighten the bolts enough to stop the wobble in the adjustable joint.

Mine showed up used, slightly scratched, and the bolt to adjust the angle is so tight, it won’t break free to adjust.I think to do it over again, I’d buy a better quality one locally.

I read some reviews about this fitting loosely so I was abit concerned. But apparently those reviewer did not get the right size as this fits perfectly. It allowed me to raise the handle bars and take pressure off hands and wrists. Just installed this morning and was able to do a 20 mile ride in the mountains. Longest in years.
