Great tent!
I am pleased with this tent! I just put it up to make sure it “worked” before the return period lapses. Although I couldn’t attach it to my car tonight, I’m not worried about that. The car opening has elastic around the entire opening, so pets can’t sneak out or critters sneak in. There’s lots of straps to connect it to the car as well. I was able to put it up by myself, but it took me a hot minute to figure out how to do it without a helper. Maybe I’ll make a video when I put it up at the campsite. The video made by the company shows two people, but with so many solo campers out there, you gotta know how to manage things on your own. Here’s a couple of tips.1. Lay out the tent, square it up and stake it down, not super tight yet. You can adjust after the tent is standing.2. Find the car opening and unzip it. More on this later.3. On the same side as the car opening, insert one of the poles into the channel (fabric tubes) and push it through until it reaches the opposite corner. Push the end of the pole onto the little 3” metal support post. You’ll need to figure out how to brace the pole against the stake so that it stays on when you start to push the whole tent up. Trial and error. Repeat the same for the other pole, starting on the same side as the first one. You should have both poles inserted across the tent, cross-crossing in the middle. Go around and attach the black clips while spreading the tent fabric so the clip hooks about where they need to be when the tent is up.4. Now stand in the car opening doorway so you can reach the tent fabric at the peak. Hold the criss-crossed poles with one hand and lift up while, with your other hand, gently pushing the pole up while easing the fabric along the pole. If all goes well you can insert the end of the pole into the little support post ( sorry I don’t know what that thingy is called, but it’s attached to the corner ring that the tent stake goes through. It should stay up enough that you can grab the other pole and so the same thing. Go around and check that that all the black clips are attached correctly. This might be a good time to use some thing to mark where the clips go. It may help!5. Once all the tent poles are locked in, you can adjust the tent stakes to make the tent tight and square.6. Don’t forget to use a 12’x12’tarp under your tent as a ground cover.I hope this helps those who haven’t set up a tent before or need to do it alone. Happy Camping!!**I’ll update after I’ve been able to attach to my car and spend the weekend using it.

Good starter tent
Why did you pick this product vs others?:This is a pretty good starter tent that was affordable. It is spacious and the height of it is nice to be able to walk around in. I wish the instructions were clearer for connecting the tent to the vehicle. There seems to be extra clips, possibly for use when you aren’t attaching to a vehicle.

Enough for camping
The original delivery date was 2 days ago, but I received the tent today 2 days late. I already own and have used several tents. However, some tents felt small, and some tents were good in the summer because the wind came in strong, but they were not usable in the winter because they were cold. Some tents were low, so it was difficult to move around inside the tent. However, after receiving and setting up this tent, I think it covers all the shortcomings of all my previous tents. First of all, I can set up and fold the tent without much difficulty by myself. It is wide enough that I could put a mattress on a queen-size bed and still have enough space. And it is designed so that it can be used in the cold winter by closing the window blinds inside the tent. (In fact, this was the main reason I bought this tent this time. I tried using a tent that covers the entire tent with a rain fly, but it took a long time to set up and fold it up, and it was difficult to do it by myself.) Above all, I am satisfied because the height is high enough. There is also a small zipper hole that allows me to put the wires inside the tent from the outside, so it is suitable for my purpose. (In winter, I plan to close all the tent windows except for a few ventilation holes and use a diesel heater. I will need a hole to insert the electric cord.) There are only two things that are disappointing. Most of the tent's seams are waterproofed, but the windows on the other three sides, except for the door, do not have waterproof tape. I think the manufacturer did not attach waterproof tape because they were thinking of covering the rainfly when it rains. Second, I am not sure how well the tent will withstand strong winds since it is tall. I have not used the tent for real camping yet, but it has almost all the elements that I want. Overall, I am satisfied. I will give it 5 stars. I will use it when I go camping at the Giant Canyon Watchman Campground next week.

Nice tent; too hard for old retired people
We finally managed to get it positioned and was nice and roomy and seemed well made enough for us. Doors on both sides a big plus since most only have one side door which creates an issue at some campsites. However, we could not quite get the underneath section where it connects to the car to stay up. Probably operator error. Our truck is a standard lift 4th Gen 4-Runner Limited and I think it would have worked but it was just too much fuss for us. Sadly, returned it. Rated it 4 stars because it would probably work well for younger folks.

High Quality Tent!
I took this tent on it's first camping trip a little over a week ago. The setup was not right for me to attach it to my SUV but worked great as a stand alone tent. The "umbilical" is the loose fabric showing to the right of the tent.I am a 61 year old woman and was able to pitch the tent solo with only a few small challenges. I did not use the rainfly this trip as there was no chance of rain.

Part replacement issue
Easy to set up. Second time I set it up the cord broke holding rib pieces together. Can’t get a response on how to get replacement.

PERFECT!!
I went through a LOT of research and returns before I found this tent. It was hard to find an SUV tent but THIS one was perfect for mu 2001 Yukon. It was extremely roomy. I like that it had 2 "windows" and enough space for 4 other people. I went solo and I was more than comfortable AND I set it up by myself which took a minute but I got it together. This tent is a DEFINITE BUY!
