Q: Is there any way that the hand held can be tilted downward? It currently shoots straight out and shoots out too far in our shower.

I always think mine off with the overhead shower on. I turn the hand held sideways so it sprays away from the door and into the wall.

Q: It comes with an 11.8 mounting shower arm, can I get a shorter one that comes with the 10" head? it is 7.9.....

The length of the shower arm is dependent on if it’s wall or ceiling mounted. Wall mounted you’ll want it long enough to stand away from the wall while showering. But the company is very helpful and if you email them they will help you order different sizes of arms
