MerrellWomen's Hydro Moc Water Shoe

TLDR - buy a size smaller - incredibly comfortable in the right sizeI'm going to get my gripe out of the way at the start - the sizing on these shoes is not accurate for men or women. My wife normally wears a size 9 but she had to go down to a size 8 for these to fit right, the 9's were ridiculously oversized. I also got a pair in a men's size 10 which turned out to be fortunate as I normally wear a 10.5-11, the smaller size was the right answer.Neither I nor my wife were convinced these shoes would be comfortable, but in a search for water/camp shoes, we thought it was worth a try. Much to our happy surprise, these feel like walking on a puffy little cloud and even as the temps hang in the 90's with 70% humidity, these still feel fairly cool and airy.We'll see how they hold up on an extended camping/kayaking trip, but I have high hopes.

I’ve been wearing Crocs for about 8 mos. Decided to try these as an option. I do EVERYTHING in them. Ride ,my motorcycle in them. Today I ended uploading an airplane in the Merrel’s. Really like them.

I am a 57 y/o female with Multiple Sclerosis, amongst other things, who falls more easily than most. During the warmer month when you want to be outdoors, or in a beach, walking becomes more difficult because of uneven terrain. I purchased this show because I thought that the way they are made (in shape and form), the threads on the soles, would help me achieve a better footing than anything else. I was correct. There is a notation that these run a bit large, and they do, but as someone who deals with swelling of my feet ankles? It is wonderful that I know that these will still fit comfortably. I highly recommend this shoe, and yes, I bought a second pair. My husband, and parents have also ordered them, so I guess we are now a HYDRO family.Slip on easilyFit well, but do run a bit bigClean with soap and waterDurable enough to wear doing yard work, the beach, into the ocean and to the grocery store!Great price in a Merrill shoe!

I loved these shoes. I struggle to find shoes that are comfortable due to my flat feet, but every pair I tried felt amazing. I could walk, run, skip, and jump with the support I needed.Unfortunately, these shoes require a perfect fit so that your feet do not slide around inside the shoe when wet. My feet are size 10 in length, but the width is extremely narrow both for my foot and my ankle. Most shoes I wear the straps do not touch my foot, the only type of shoes that really fit are tennis shoes where I can use the string to really tighten the shoe.So when buying these water shoes I purchased multiple sizes to find the perfect fit. I ordered women’s 10, 9, and 8.5; and I ordered men’s 9 and 8. None of them fit my narrow feet.The 10 was just slightly too long and much too wide.The W9 was perfect in length, but was too wide. I could have worn them for everyday use, but I needed a pair that could get wet. I walked around with them wet, but my foot slipped around too much.W8.5 never came. Instead they sent an 8 which was too short for my feet.The M9 overall was too big, and the M8 was just slightly too long, but both were too wide.I love these shoes so much that for the first time in my life I actually bought multiple pairs to try and get them to fit, but in the end none of the shoes worked and I had to send them all back.I am writing this review in hopes that Merrel will create more narrow shoes of this model but for longer foot sizes, or maybe even add adjustable straps to keep narrow feet in place.If you have long feet (size 9,10,11,12) that are narrow (unusually narrow) do not buy these shoes for water activities. They will not work, trust me I tried all of the sizes I could.I’ll keep a lookout for any new water shoes from this company, but I am doubtful that they will ever make a skinny shoe.

Great water shoes! I got these for kayaking and wearing at the lake and on the boat. I was really confused about sizing after reading reviews. I wear a size 9, and ordered a size 9. They fit perfectly. I’m so glad I didn’t size down as others recommended. They fit perfectly and are nice and wide, but not sloppy big. I’m able to slip them on and off with ease and even swim in them with the strap on the heel.

Beautiful shoe which can be outdoor sandal as well as a dressy shoeIt has right grip and can be used for any water activity like tubing or white water rafting or even hiking in wet areas

Giving them 3 star, I loved them until yesterday when the band that goes around the back came out of the hole. It's impossible to get the button back in and I've passed the 30 return by 8 days.
