Perfect
Got this for my grandpa so he didn't have to keep digging into his pockets. Was amazed at how light weight it was and how functional it was to put his water bottle on the side making it more hands free and easier for him. Zipper quality was amazing didn't catch and the adjustable waste band makes it easier for any size to wear this. Plenty of storage in the their.

Works well for dog walks, fishing and hiking
The reason I picked this one over several others I’ve tried is because the pockets for water are deep and wide enough for my water bottles. I keep a 24oz Contigo water bottle for me and a 20oz Athletic Works water bottle for my dog. There are 2 metal D rings, one on ea side that are used to attach my dogs leash and his collapsible bowel. The tall pocket with the hole works well for poo bags, pepper spray and a few tissues. If I just put the poo bags in it’s too loose and the bags come unrolled making them difficult to pull through the hole. The very front pocket is perfect for his food (he has to work for meals). The larger one behind fits my iPhone, some special treats, my car fob and house key. The largest pocket has a zippered pocket inside, against the body, that can hold a wallet, passport or a trifold piece of letter sized paper. I usually keep my id, credit card and small notebook in it. There are a couple elastic loops that are great for chapstick or other items of similar size. Opposite the zipper pocket are 2 pockets about the size of a deck of cards. I use one for my homemade bug spray in a 2oz glass bottle, the other one is usually empty, but I’ve used it for snack stuff a couple times. Between the 2 pockets are 2 slots for pens, I have a pen and a pair of tweezers in them now. The large pocket itself can be used for a lot of different things. I’ve used it for granola bars, a 20 oz Red Bull, a zip bag with a wet cooling towel and a few other items…all at the same time with a little room to spare. Since I wear it on my side I can’t add as much as I could if worn in front or back. First-aid supplies (self stick wrap, gauze pads, bandaids, folding scissors, antibiotic ointment and a Benadryl stick) fit well in the very top zipper (sunglasses) pocket. All those items pack it to its limit, but I was surprised I could get it all in there. As someone who sews I can honestly say the materials are decent quality as is the stitching, especially at this price point. Of course higher quality fabrics and stitching would make this much more expensive, so at this price it’s a good balance between higher and lower quality materials. My dog has pulled pretty hard a couple times, the D ring and belt withstood it like a champ. He’s a muscular Border/Heeler weighing about 45lbs. I don’t know if it could withstand a dog over 70lbs or not but it might. The waist strap is nice and wide but not overly so. I really like the hardware and the way it’s put together. So far the hardware has been pretty strong and hasn’t slipped when my dog pulled hard. It’s also pretty easy to adjust on the fly if it’s too loose. I do notice that when I remove one of the water bottles the whole thing loosens up because the straps that hold them in place affects the overall tightness. It’s also not super easy to reinsert the bottles while walking, although it’s getting easier the more I use it. I do wish the strap that holds the bottles was about 2” longer since I have it extended all the way for the bottles I have. I don’t how well it would hold anything wider than what I currently use. The other thing I’d change about the water holder is that instead of being able to put them away into a pocket I’d tack them to the belt itself so it wouldn’t be floppy without the strap (hope that made sense). At some point I might just sew the elastic to the belt and sew the pocket part closed. When not in use it would still be easy to just fold it upward and tighten the strap to keep it out of the way. That seems to be the way most others are made. I guess being able to put them away is good for some people who want a cleaner look but personally I’d rather have something that’s easier to use while walking. The whole thing has to be lifted a little to strap the bottle in and the strap has to be used or the bottle will flop around. I guess if the strap was an inch or two longer lifting wouldn’t be needed and it would be fine as is. Also the elastic is a bit thin, it would definitely be SO much better if they used 1/2-3/4” elastic, currently it’s 1/4”.I’ve also used this when fishing. The large pocket holds a 2 level Plato tackle box, just barely, the front one I usually keep poo bags in holds my folding pliers, paper spray and small scissors. The very front pocket fits my mini tackle box and the one behind holds my phone. The one at top doesn’t change, it always holds first aid stuff.Overall it’s an amazing bag for the price. There are only a few small changes that I’d make if I was designing it, but those are pretty small things. If you need a medium sized hip pack with dual water bottle holder this one is a good buy. If you need to hold a ton of stuff then there are bigger ones out there that would work better. Even though I don’t always keep this packed with stuff I wouldn’t want to size down since this has a pretty small profile when empty and the option to fill it up is there. There are times when I want to carry more so I’ll use this for items I want easy access to and use a backpack for larger items that I don’t need quick access to.After trying 4 others I’m glad I landed on this one, it’s perfect for my needs and looks like it will last at least a couple years. The price is low enough that I wouldn’t mind buying another every 2-3 years, hopefully it’ll still be available then.

Good But Not Great for Dog Walking
This is an OK pack, but not as good as I had hoped for walking a dog.. it looked a lot more usable than it actually is. There are two decent size pockets, and three not so good size pockets. The larger two are the only two pockets that my phone actually fits into, but the smaller of the two makes it a tight fit so I use the main pocket for my cell phone. Unfortunately, the zipper for that pocket is not as easy to access as the zipper for the smallest (and most useless) pocket which is on very top of the pack. I did not realize that pocket at the top is only about 1 1/2 to 2” deep and is suggested for sunglasses.. I don’t use sunglasses so I use it for a roll of dog bags and a couple tissues since nothing else fits in it. I listen to a lot of audible books so I access my phone fairly often. I found it easier to just wear pants with a pocket for my cell phone instead of using the pack. I ended using the main pocket for carrying the used poop bag for my small dog, I don’t put anything else in that pocket so most of it is not used. And lastly, the strap that holds the water bottle does not stay tight so the bottle slides down. All in all I wish I had sent the bag back for a refund. I realize now that the size and easy access to pockets is more important than the total number of pockets. I have not found a real use for the small pocket in front which looks like it was designed for a flip phone or the zippered pocket below the square pocket.

Best bag can hold everything!
The media could not be loaded. This bag is well constructed with good zippers, straps and buckles. I think an engineering genius designed this bag because the pockets are ample and well thought out. My video shows the pack holding a 14 ounce water bottle one on each side, pepper spray for stray animals, detachable key ring, pocket for inhaler or pet waste bags, cell phone pocket, sunglasses pocket, main compartment large enough for a light jacket, a loop for a sharpie or chapstick, and lastly an inner pocket for important documents like a passport. I like that the main waist strap is made of a material similar to seatbelts so it is sturdy and doesn’t rub uncomfortably. Note, this waist strap expands so one could use it as a cross body if one is not too large.I love the material of the main bag which, in my case, was grey with streaks of black. I love it! Dog walking or traveling this bag can go anywhere.
