Best Tool- Making Life Easier!!
This is the greatest tool I have ever purchased!! This thing not only sucks up leaves, but twigs too, quickly and efficiently. I use it over my rocks (entire rock yard in Az) and it has no problem with this. It sucks up big piles, leaves in crevices, leaves under furniture, it’s just amazing!! My patio and yard now look great, and it will give me a break from cleaning leaves out of the pool. Best purchase! Way faster than sweeping and blowing leaves around. Amazing!!!

It’s a bargain
A little bit heavy if you’re a light weight, especially for long run jobs. Otherwise it’s perfect.

Mulches to small chunks!
I moved somewhere with a lot of trees and my property is positioned in a way where it creates a bit of a vortex. Combine that with frequent strong winds and I end up with huge piles of leaves in just a few hours in the fall. I had leaves up to my knees in my basement walkout area! I wasn't going to have a repeat of my first winter here last year.Besides mulching leaves on my lawn with my mower, I raked and filled several contractor size bags last year. It was ridiculous and I knew there must be a better way. I then found this vacuum and mulcher, which I didn't even know existed until I started searching on Amazon. One feature on this vacuum model made me choose it over others by Black+Decker. That was the metal mulching blade. I was worried a plastic mulching blade would not hold up to small rocks being sucked up, which does happen from time to time since I have small lava rock in planters. I occasionally hear the sound of small rocks bouncing off metal blades and I cringe. I try and shut off the vacuum, but the small pebbles often make it into the bag before I can get to the power dial. I kind of wish this just had a power trigger that I could quickly release, but it is not a big deal since I like not having to keep pressure on a trigger. The power dial is also convenient if you need to dial down the suction. I go full speed all the time and just raise it up a bit higher if vacuuming over rock. The first time I used this vacuum I was immediately pleased with my purchase. Once the bag got a bit heavy, I opened it to see that the leaves were mulched to very small pieces. I spread this mulch over a dirt area at the top of a retaining wall so it can breakdown over the winter and hopefully prevent weeds. I then plan to spread more wildflower seeds in the spring. I was also able to sprinkle it over my lawn and have it fall between grass blades. Free fertilizer by next spring. The one thing keeping this vacuum from getting five stars is the bag. The shoulder strap is terrible. It is thin, not comfortable, and does not stay on my shoulder very well, and too short to wear like a sling. I mostly wrap the shoulder strap around one of my hands instead of putting it over my shoulder. Some reviewers recommended getting the trash can attachment, which I may do next year. I am a little hesitant because I need to move around the house and go into my basement walkout area. It would not be convenient to drag a trash can down there.I love this vacuum and I have not bagged or even thrown away leaves this year. I also have one of the cleanest yards in the neighborhood. I find myself vacuuming up leaves off my neighbor's property since I want more mulch (and I don't want the wind blowing the leaves into my yard).

A Leaf Vacuum That Actually Delivers!
Certified review junkie. I rely on them to make informed purchases, and I expect products to live up to their promises. After a year of searching for the perfect outdoor leaf vacuum, I finally found this one. And let me tell you, it's a breath of fresh air in a world of fake or exaggerated reviews.I didn't have unrealistic expectations—just a simple request: great suction, a vacuum that could handle pebbles, stones, and previously laid mulch without undoing all my hard yard work without a sweat. And guess what? This one fit the bill! The power and suction quality are top-notch, and the value is unbeatable.Just a heads-up: I found the cord to be short, so if you have a larger property, you'll need an extension cord to keep the suction party going. The design...meh. But that's a small price to pay for a product that actually does what it says it will.In short, this leaf vacuum is a winner. It's reliable, effective, and won't leave you feeling raked over the proverbial pebbles.

Not For Me
I bought this for the leaf vacuum; I have a blower. This review is based on the vacuum feature: Off the bat, this is a clunky piece of equipment. It’s not complicated to put together, but between the chute, the bag and the cord, trying to vacuum leaves is clunky. I’m 5’2 and hoped this would be a helpful addition to my lawn care. It’s not bad, but I don’t love it. The suction is ok and the capacity of the vacuum bag is a nice size. I’d return it if I could because it doesn’t really work for me, but again, I’ve only used the vacuum and I’m a pretty short woman.

Faster Yard Clean Up
We previously had a Sun Joe that was similar and wheels on the bottom but it was still too heavy. So, we waited a few years to try another leaf blower and mulcher. I read reviews for this particular Black and Decker leaf blower and mulcher on multiple sites. We decided to buy it and see if it would help with cleaning up debris and cuttings in the backyard. I have fibromyalgia and join pain. It has gotten difficult to bend down or get on my knees to clean up the backyard. First off, I want to say the instructions and video are straightforward. I did not have any problems with assembly or using it. When reading the instructions, you will need to pay attention to which attachments you are putting together. The first set of instructions are for the blower. The second set of instructions are for the mulcher. I found the videos on this site very helpful for putting together the mulcher and using it. I have a large yard and barely filled the black nylon bag attachment. The mulching function nearly turned the leaves into small confetti. Another tip, DO use all the straps if you have pain or slight mobility issues. The belt for the mulcher I put on like a crossbody bag and the strap for the black nylon bag that holds the mulch, I put over my shoulder. Also, it has great suction power and if you have a desert or dirt yard like we do, I highly recommend wearing a mask and garden goggles/glasses. The dust blows through the fibers of the black nylon bag. In the box, they included two white heavy duty filtered bags to help reduce the dust. For the most part, this has made cleaning up the backyard so much easier for me. I just blow everything I want to pick up in a pile then use the mulcher. It definitely works for me. I highly recommend for small to medium clean up.
