CRESSISupernova Dry, Black/Red

Very convenient snorkel, well made, and lasts a long time. Cannot believe I bought mine 8 years ago! Just used it yesterday for more lake snorkeling, as I do every summer + took it on a couple trips to Hawai over the years. It lets you dive and upon resurfacing you just breathe out fast to expel the water. Soft clear plastic part did turn yellow over time, but the thing still works like new, membrane never leaks, etc.

After renting gear for years and always being disappointed, I finally decided to buy my own. This snorkel is great. Super comfortable, super easy to clear. I have never had to empty it in the middle of the water and it doesn’t fill up with water when it gets splashed or when I dive. Just blowing out hard clears it easily. Fantastic and lives up to the reviews.

This is the second Cressi snorkel I have purchased and am now reviewing. I am only submitting this review now, several months after my purchase, because I did not have the opportunity to try it out until just now. I am happy to report that for me, this less expensive snorkel in the Cressi line, actually works better. I used it under various conditions over several days recently, and not once did I have the water intrusion problem that I had with the "better" Cressi snorkel. (To be fair, my wife is still using the better model, and she did not have the issues I had.)This Cressi Supernova snorkel works as a good snorkel should. The detachable clip makes it easy to attach and detach it from your snorkel mask. It simply does not allow water in while you are snorkeling. You can free-dive with it, and when you surface there is not water that needs to be cleared, or at least there wasn't for me the few times I free-dove with it. Only used for 3 days so far. Worked well. Kept water out. I dropped it in the surf and got a bit of sand stuck in the valve that keeps water out. After a minute or two I was able to get the pebble out and it worked great again.

I tried these in the pool right after buying them, but the buckle does not click into the clip the way it is intended to, and so it took me quite a long time to get the mask and snorkel to stay together at all. I think the snorkel is really nice. I've been using a snorkel now for about 1 1/2 years, and I can tell a big difference in quality with the Cressi brand. It's very nice. I have contacted the seller regarding the buckle/clip issue, and I'll let you know if they respond.They replied to me immediately, and showed me with a picture what I was doing wrong. I misunderstood how to put the snorkel and mask together using the clip provided. I'm very satisfied with their response, and recommend this snorkel to anyone. It's very comfortable, and I feel like I'm breathing much easier with it.

We are in Cancun now and this snorkel tube is amazing! I now have three of these and they all are just perfect. Very comfortable, easy to breathe, and no getting water in your mouth or lungs. Extremely well made. I truly cannot recommend this enough, if you’re trying to decide on one just get this one trust me. I have one left that is different and after this trip I will be replacing it with another one of these. Happy to have found these, you never know these days if it will be good or not but these are money well spent.

Very reliable

This snorkel is legit!! It has such a great design and was very comfortable. I had bought two of these (one blue, one black) for a recent Cancun trip and they were perfect. Never had an issue with accidental water entry, even in rough open ocean swims. The mouth piece was very comfortable and I was able to use it for hours with no soreness or fatigue. By far the best feature on this is the water clearing design. Hardly any effort is needed to clear the tube which is key to long dives. Highly recommended this snorkel!!!!

Lo he usado en agua salada y dulce, es muy fácil enjuagarlo y la calidad del plástico es muy buena. Es cómodo usarlo.
