great state, good quality, had a few issues at the beginning but all it needed was a few updates.

been my daily driver for about a year or two! absolutely love him. great machine for standard use. - mostly use him for art programs, watching YouTube, and general web browsing, but he can run some games as well! nothing too modern, but hey, i can't complain! :)

Check the image. Enough time has passed that now I rely on this laptop for my business efforts, and also just enough time that there is no longer support or return eligibility. Windows has “expired” after 4 months and can’t be restored because this is refurbished from a corporation that doesn’t allow it to be restored for security reasons. If I want product support- I also have to BUY that from HP directly who will tell me there is no resolution but to buy a new computer with new Windows. Seriously?? This is a full blown scam that times the deactivation perfectly so you’re left stranded.

This laptop is in great condition. Set up was easy and is plenty fast. I did not realize this was a touch screen. It works great for watching and editing videos, and some lite cad work. Battery life is not as long as I was hoping it would be.

I only had the laptop for 2 hours before sending it back. The laptop was delivered with zero charge which I found strange, but booted up with no problem after plugging it in. After running through windows setup and configuring a few things I noticed that the battery still was at 0%. I then spent the next 20 minutes trying to troubleshoot it until I finally decided to remove the bottom cover and see if maybe the battery was not fully plugged in….as it turns out there was no battery. I am not sure how this happened considering "Each unit has been subjected to rigorous functionality testing before they leave our facility".

I upgraded from another HP laptop that was a few years old. The features and quality of this one are dramatically better, especially for such a low price. The HD screen is excellent and makes watching movies very satisfying. With 16 MGs of Ram and a good processor, the speed is also very good. It handles musical and graphic software just fine. It more than meets all my computing needs. The refurbishing seems thorough, and I haven't had any issues whatsoever. Really a great bargain!

The media could not be loaded. Great specs for the price! Just needed it for work! Works awesome and exceeds what I needed really! Thanks for the best model as well. I have the better camera model which is nice. Packaging was very professional and clean, would definitely recommend if you need a quick laptop that has great specs.Also, if your sound doesn't work and buttons wont work for volume, just download the audio driver DIRECTLY from HP Support website (make sure to choose the correct model laptop and version of windows; 22H2 was mine for the 840 G5. Just a tip to save you the headache I went through for 40 mintues.
