Skin Grip CGM Patches for Insulet Omnipod (20-Pack), Waterproof & Sweatproof for 10-14 Days, Pre-Cut Adhesive Tape, Continuous Glucose Monitor Protection

My son is a recent Type 1 diagnosis (6 months) and we quickly learned that in the heat of summer (combined with pool and beach) the adhesive backing on the Omnipod was not enough. We have purchased 3 sets of these as we use them with every site change. My son has very sensitive skin, and they do not cause any rash or redness to his skin. My only complaint (if you can even call it that) is these work SO well that they sometimes cause discomfort removing.

One of the ONLY opatches I can use without a reaction! Last time I bought the darker ones and this time I got the pastels and I absolutely LOVE the light pastel colors! They aren’t so “hey look at me” and I feel more confident wearing them without a lot of attention brought to them as well as being able to swim with my kids and not have to worry about wasting a pod due to it being submerged like when you have a pod without the added protection. I just wish we would get some sent to us free if we’ve bought them before to helpWith the cost because diabetes supplies in general are expensive as is 🤣

Tried these out after a doctor recommended them due to getting rashes with other brands/types.And thank GOD, no irritation/rashes to be had from the adhesive/material. They stick well (I do add skin-tac wipes to thoroughly secure the skin grips to be clear). So far loving these and I do believe I am only going to be buying these going forward.

I have purchased these several times (pastel and Rainbow, also for my Dexcom 6), these are okay to good patches but: it seems they absorb water which is not good. It seems it they will start raveling at edges thus creating causes the patch to start weakening this not doing what it is suppose to do. For the price, they should last longer than they do. The only reason I have used these because compared to the others, this one seems to be just a tad bit better than the others I have used. If I had to rate these 0/10, I would give them a 6.
