Works great, though they don't last forever... which you might think they would. The bristles eventually start to fall out and go in the pool when scrubbing... throw it out as they are sharp. They work great for a couple of years (at least in Florida weather). Cheap enough to replace and they work when you need them.

My pool had bad algae on the walls and using this brush 2-3 times has left my pool so clean again. Will buy again if needed works wonders.

Attachment (to the pole) area is not well-designed:1. The clip flops down and sticks out, catching on things.2. The clip is too weak and the rake fell off the pole when I had 18" The Wall Whale Classic attached to it. I was brushing bottom of murly pool (due to a TON of algae). Finding it and fishing it out of the pool took around 20 minutes and me actually going into the pool - the tail creates a lot of force and the rake was quite far from the place where I felt it detach.Later, I've tested SS brush from Leslie's ( retails for 150% of this item) with the same Wall Whale thingie and it stayed on through 4 brushings so far; it didn't fall off even on highest pressure setting of The Whale. So I feel I have to share this info in case others are thinking of using this rake and The Whale.

This brush feel apart with loosing bristles after the first season. Cheep is what you get with this. And terrible customer service. The company did respond a couple times but blamed me for the product failure.My previous brush lasted five years with comparable use. Suggest buying a better brush unless you want to hear bristles in your pool!

Just be careful and don’t over do it as it is metal and can easily go through your plaster.

good product good finish good use

Used this brush for 7 weeks about 2-3 times a week to brush down algae growth on a plaster pool. Handle just snapped this morning. Bristles arnt bent at all so I’ll still use it as a hand brush but it’s not strong enough to use on a pole
