I got this for my kids to use at my son's 5th birthday. We have another "mini" version of a different brand and we like it fine, but the base is a little bit wonky (our fault, not theirs) so I wanted something that was harder to mess up and could be used consistently with a bunch of preschoolers at a birthday party.This works great! It may not fly quite as high as the other brand (not sure) but it certainly is high enough to satisfy my kids. They even used it in the house (vaulted 2-story high ceiling) and it thwacked into the ceiling each time which they were very satisfied with. They had so much fun that I bought a 2nd one so we can have rocket races. And of course we got extra rockets. I love that the cost for replacements is decent. The fins eventually fell off the rockets after repeated whacks into the ceiling, but that makes sense, and they could be repaired easily with a dab of glue. The kids loved playing with them over and over. And even stacking them to see how high 3 rockets would go (spoiler: not as high) :)One thing though, the pad is a little bit smaller than the other brand so it makes more sense for my kids to stomp on it than jump on it. I loved watching them jump into the air with increasing enthusiasm in order to get it to fly higher on our other brand. Not the same thing with a big stomp. My nearly-5 year old says he likes it just as much, if not more, so this is a minor thing, but worth potentially considering. (In short, you jump on a stomp rocket and stomp on a jump rocket.)

Nice little stomp rocket to be used for a HeadStart classroom of 4 year olds. It's easy to use, launches up to 50 ft so not crazy high, and I'm sure the kids will love it. The rockets are soft foam so it will be safe fun. After a few test launches, a few little wings fell off one rocket but I will just hot glue them back on and it will be good to go! Good buy for the price.

We purchased these for my 3 year old son. Needless to say, he loves them and so do I.They are a great toy for both indoor and outdoor use. The rockets are a nerf-like foam material, so they do not damage painted walls or ceilings. The smaller rocket set (this one) is easy for a toddler to use and launch.I would highly recommend this toy for any child 3 years and up.After some HEAVY use, the rockets have started to rip and the fins have fallen off. BUT that does not detract from the usefulness or the enjoyment this brings to kids. AND for the price, one cannot expect them to last for ever.

We saw a stomp rocket type toy at a birthday party and I came home to search for one for our 20 month old twin girls. This Geospace set is perfect. It was not immediately easy for the girls -- which is exactly what I wanted. It took a week for them to fully gain the new gross motor skills to balance and step on the rocket launcher with their full body weight on their heels (otherwise they are not strong enough to push it down). This launcher is very compact (which is much appreciated in a household full of toys), and the rockets are entirely made of foam, so no chance of gouging anyone's eyes or ceiling out. They are just so much fun!p.s. The toy does feel a little "cheap" because it's just some simple plastic pieces and some foam rockets. So if you are trying to impress someone with an expensive feeling gift don't buy this. But if you are looking for lots of fun for under $10 for your toddlers, this is perfect!

Huge hit with the kids and the adults, so the concept is rock solid. The kids (3 and 5) loved it and played with it all afternoon, and both could make the rockets go pretty high! The adults were fighting for their turn. This would be a perfect product; however, within about 15 minutes, the fins on the rockets, which are minimally glued on, started coming off. If you're really going to use this with kids and intend to keep it functional for more than a weekend, take a day to add extra Gorilla glue to each fin. You'll be glad you did. You shouldn't really have to do this, though, and this product had the same weakness as the $2 version my sister got at the Dollar Store, but there you have it. So five stars for the idea and the fun, and minus two for quality.

My grands sons love playing with this and it helps keep their attention for a while. They are currently ages 1,2,&3 and they do not have a difficult time using it. It is perfectly safe for using it in the house and they all love to try and hit nana's ceiling. It has never left a mark on my ceiling or anywhere else, especially since papa has shown them another way to launch the rockets. This is the best inexpensive item that I have purchased for my grandchildren to play with in my home. I have not used it outside yet but will possibly take it out. It is definitely perfect for indoor use.sign Nana

Not sure why there were so many 5 star reviews on this. I just opened it for the first time and here are my issues:- The rockets are so tight to the base that they don't always fire- Theres a hole in the bottom of the base (I'm assuming for pressure relief ) that definitely contributes to the rockets not firing very well, or at all- The tube is poor quality and the kinks from the packaging won't come out of it, also contributing to the rockets not firing correctly

So they look pretty cool but far from it.. the rockets are very small,not much space between the rockets nd launch pad...the tube that connects the launch pad to the rockets make it uneven and also the tube is really Poor quality and it breaks very easy the one i got already broke.. Dnt waste ur time nd money look for better quality
