Such a huge help when I am in the middle of a project at work.

I definitely needed this book to help me with my on-line computer courses.

I feel this is not a good book to learn Microsoft excel if you have no idea about it.

I've had this problem with other Microsoft Press books in the past. I should have remembered this fact when I purchased this book. I spent hours & hours & hours laboring through the book and finally gave up at around 50% through. It just wasn't worth it. I spent half the time (at least) Googling and YouTubing to find out how to actually do things from the book. And on MANY occasions, I simply could never find menus or dialog boxes in the instructions; or I would follow instructions exactly and they wouldn't work, and screens weren't the same, and some screens didn't even exist. I finally decided I'd had enough (having spent weeks trying to get through this book), and found a much better book that I am VERY happy with ("Excel 2019 Bible"). I just barely got the book about an hour or 1.5 hours ago, and am already 10% through it, enjoying it, and learning a lot more than I did with the MS Press book.

Very in depth and lots of details about everything that are great to know.

If you are learning Excel or need a reference book for formulas not used often, this book is excellent! Easy to understand and exercises for you to use and test your skills. A definite must have.

Easy way to work with it, no wasted time. I use it almost for everything; home, work, education, share info, etc.An excellent way to easier the way to deal with databases.
