This is a good quality way lube oil.

WORKS AS SHOULD

Once you scrape in your ways this should be the very next thing you do for your new or refurbished ways before even wiring and turning on your machine. But! This is a sticky oil. It holds tight to vertical surfaces. This means that you MUST wipe down thoroughly and recoil your ways before each use! Neglecting this will cost you time, repairs and heavy wear to your ways. If you live near the ocean or in a humid area this is the perfect oil to wipe all over ever inch of exposed metal including the chuck and tool holders if you are going to leave the shop for more than lunch. If you oil everything down then go away for a month the machine will not have surface rust when you return. I recommend a heavy canvass painted heavily with beeswax on one side and with this way oil on the other side to protect your lathe, mill, table saw, wood lathe and drill press..anywhere there is exposed cast iron or mild or tool steel it needs this cover. I live in the North where the machines cool to -20F over night and when you warm up the shop frost and condensate collects on all metal setting it up to rust within hours. Our tools are used, oiled and covered every time they are used...if you forget..you’re unemployed. That’s just how important using this oil regularly is!
