Hard to set up; very finicky
I received this item 3 days ago and have spent several hours each of those days trying to get it to connect to a attiny84 so that I can program and debug. It seems to very finicky when the microcontroller is on a breadboard. I got it to connect once, albeit with error statements, and was able to put breakpoints etc. However, that was the first and last time to get it to even partially work. WAY too hard to set up for the price. I know that many people have successfully set it up and really like it but I can't recommend it for "newbies".
