Good info, but terrible pictures
Bought Kindle version based on recommendations, and feel a bit cheated. I'll give it a 2-star for the basic information. Sample view of book does not include pictures so you don't know until you purchase. Although she gives a lot of good information on working with clays, the pictures are pretty abysmal. If you are looking for pics that inspire, or have clean detail graphics, find another book. All this includes are simplistic children's dinosaurs, animal finger puppets, fruit, and ice cream cones - not very attractive. When you increase size on Kindle the pictures get grainy and out of focus - they don't scale. Not one step by step pictorial on instructions. So...if you are looking for a book that has information and can follow along without visual aids, this book would be a good purchase for you. If you prefer some pictures to lead along, and more inspiring adult themed beginner projects, then I wouldn't buy this one. I'd return it if I could, and spend my money on something more robust.

no colored pictures
Polymer Clay is so colorful and can make such beautiful jewelry and more yet the book was in black and white. There is so much color to be had to draw your interest but yet there is non.

Great instructions for beginners!
Easy, understandable instructions given with concise and thorough explanation. I love when instructions are also educational. This book goes beyond educational and truly sparks your interest into getting involved with a new hobby or starting a new craft. You will enjoy Aimee's teachings!

Mixed reaction ...
Some good basic info like precautions, troubleshooting. But where are the pictures? Projects have step by step written instructions but they are not illustrated (Kindle version). Some projects have a small photo of the finished project (or part of it) while some are not shown at all - just written instructions. I don't find a lack of illustrations to be helpful in a crafting how-to book. I hope the physical version of the book is better.

For the price this book is very good. It would be very helpful to have illustrations on the different techniques. It does explain clay and baking well
For the price this book is very good. Explains clay and baking very well but illustrations would have been very helpful
