Euro Cuisine Glass Jars for Yogurt Maker, Set of 8

Sturdy. Easy to use. A bit tricky to clean because of rim in bottom.

These yogurt glass jars can be used not only for the Euro cuisine, but likewise for the Gourmia yogurt maker. I have the latter and wanted a second set of glass jars, so that I can overlap my yogurt production. It takes seven jars to fill the space in the machine completely, so one cannot start another batch until the last jar is empty. With two sets, no problem there! These glass jars are very nice: they have a great lid, the best food grade plastic, shiny and dense material. This is the Plus of these jars. The downside, comparing them with the original Groumia jars is that these have an extra curvature on the bottom, which makes it a little harder to spoon them out cleanly and completely. Yes, I am a yogurt freak and I don't like to waste good food, not even a little of it, if I can eat it instead! So with these, I use my finger to clean out the rest stuck in the "fold" of the jar. The original Gourmia jars have a simple bottom, which for yogurt spooning, makes it easier to get everything out. (Well, I still lick them clean with my finger, lol.... it is too pleasureable, lol and I can't resist the inner kid's temptation!) Oh, and bonus: you get eight jars, so an extra one in case somebody is clumsy. Not a bad thing, either! Perfect little yogurt jars.

I don't have a yogurt maker. I make yogurt in my instant pot, and then put it in these jars. They are a perfect size to grab for a snack or light lunch. The lids screw on securely, and both lids and jars are dishwasher safe. They are very durable, and have not broken when accidentally dropped ! I make yogurt often, so I’ve become very possessive of my jars. After each one is cleaned, it is put in a shoe box, hidden away so they don’t disappear , like many of my other storage dishes!

These were more expensive than I was hoping to pay, but wanted to make sure they would work in my EuroCuisine Yogurt Maker correctly. There are complaints about the rim just under the lid being hard to clean, I find them no harder to clean by hand than anything else I hand wash (just pay attention and be mindful to clean it thoroughly, which you would need to do anyways to give the yogurt cultures a clean breeding ground). They also get perfectly clean in my dishwasher (glass part only, hand wash the plastic parts!) The lids don't create a water-tight seal and will need to be stored upright, I would not trust them floating around a bag as the lids come off easily, too. I think they were worth the purchase to me since I usually eat my yogurt at home. They are small and store well, too, which is very handy.

I bought these for use in my Suteck yogurt maker and they fit and work just fine. The 3.25 inch height just fits, anything taller won’t work. I am happy with my purchase.

I wanted more of the same jars that came with my Euro Cuisine model YM80 so I could make another batch of yogurt before the prior batch was consumed. These jars are exactly the same of the originals. They are good quality and hold 6 fl. oz. You should realize that the hard plastic screw top does not have a gasket and does not make a liquid-tight seal. So they will leak a little if you fill them with water and shake the jar. But for yogurt, it’s not a problem that they don’t have a gasket.

These are great!! If you have the machine that goes with these I highly recommend them. I love that I can put the date and know when they were made. I do wish these were bigger though.

Yo los compre en un inicio para la maquina de yogurt, geniales! me enamoré de ellos y ahora los utilizo para las gelatinas, postres, budines y todo lo que quieres cerrado en el refrigerador o alacena, ideal para llevar nueces, fruta picada, leche en polvo. Ideal porque se lava en lavavajillas y quedan perfectos, tienen un excelente cierre y nada se derrama :) Es cristal pero super resistente, super higiénicos y no huelen!

Arrived on time and the product was exactly what I expected. The name of the make was confusing and the product coming in fact from America, the postage was very dear.
