Excellent!
Manga Studio 5 is, for most of the basic drawing/painting functions, pretty intuitive. But you really can't get the most out of it unless you understand how to use the incredibly awesome ruler fujnctions. Coming from a background of primarily paper-and-ink illustration, I've been really pleased with Manga Studio...but the rulers have been a little frustrating. Doug Hills' "field guide" makes it incredibly easy with his step-by-step instructions. If you're new to MS and have version 5 or 5 EX, forget about the "Manga Studio for Dummies" book - it's 5 times the price of this ebook and will not help you a bit because it was written for an older, obsolete version. This is the guide you'll most appreciate.

Clear cut, easy to follow instructions from a comic creator who has routinely used the program for years!
Doug does a great job of laying everything out in a modular way, that can be read through from cover to cover, or referenced on a single topic. Everything is explained step-by-step, in clear and simple terms.I am very much looking forward to the rest of his series, taking on every aspect of Manga Studio 5 piece by piece!

This is pretty good and full of useful information
This is pretty good and full of useful information.However, I am still unclear on the actual use and setup of perspective rulers, which shouldn't be the case when the subject here is specifically about Manga Studio rulers.2 Stars off for that, I hope the author sees this review and maybe ammends the information contained within this short "booklet".
