TBH, they work and value for money
Does what it says on the tin, you need to run a line?, these rods pay for themselves after a couple of runs, honestly wouldn’t buy another, definitely value for money

Used for routing lighting cable. Great product.

Small case, but everything else is great
Used to fish 2.5mm t+e through stud walls and under floorboards. Just enough flex in them without drooping over long runs. Plenty of attachments for the ends, although I do tend to just tape my cable to the rods. Good quality and no signs of any degradation to them. They’re also thin enough to be ran through existing capping if needed. My only criticism is that the storage ‘tube’ could do to be a little bit bigger. It’s fine for the rods, but when you include the attachments it gets a bit snug.

Job done
Done the job getting ethernet cable through the fascia into the loft. I suggest tape each section so it doesn't unscrew itself.

Ok but . . . . . . .
Easy to screw together to make the length you want, i thought each rod would be a bit longer than they are, you have to screw a few together reach from one room to another below. The tube they are in is too small and i managed to lose 2 of the extra fittings as i taped them to the outside of the tube instead of finding another package to keep it all in. Also, the ceiling i wanted to push the rods through for cabling has a lot of insulation and these were too flimsy to push through it, i ended up using a piece of upvc curtain rail that was spare in the garage and that worked a treat. These rods would be ok for pulling a cable through a wall cavity that has no barriers in its path.

Makes running cable easier with less fuss
Easily allowed us to run an Ethernet cable through the wall and pull it out on the other side. Simple screw on each pole to each other for however long you need and you'll be able to run cables with only a small hole on either side of the wall.
