Q: I've been ordering your product for years and suddenly tablets have appeared in a new bottle that is supposed to contain capsules. why?

We have not changed the formula. FerroSolve has always come in capsules and still does. We have never manufactured the product in tablets. About four years ago the company refreshed its brand, creating a new logo and labels. But the products themselves have not changed.

This is a very high quality iron supplement. I'm not familiar with the one you are taking so I'm not able to actually compare it.

Q: What is the purpose of the added L-leucine? And how much is in the supplement?

Dietary supplements in which the nutrients being used are powder require something to maintain the flow of the nutrients through the machinery so they don't clump. Many companies use silicon dioxide, which does not provide any additional nutrition. Instead, NBI uses L-Leucine, an amino acid that provides some added nutrition. Each FerroSolve capsule provides 5 mg of L-Leucine.

Q: What is the L-leucine sourced from? Is it a legume?

It is not sourced from a legume. The L-leucine is derived from corn.
