Incredible
I’m new to sous vide cooking, experimenting with various products. Ordered the Savour bags because of the ease of use and the fact that they are reusable. First time, I had a problem with the little cap, ended up ripping the bag when I pulled it off. I wrote to the Savour company, asking if there was a trick to it. Received a quick response, including detailed instructions from Susan, co-owner. She was very polite, very encouraging, and extremely helpful. She even sent me replacement bags for the ones I had ruined. Who does that? Savour does. My second attempt worked better, but I evidently hadn’t securely sealed the zip lock and water flooded the bag. I removed the roast, dried it off, finished cooking it under the broiler. Susan was again extremely helpful, providing several hints to get a better seal, even offering to call me and walk me through it. I have never bought an item from any company that has been so willing to step in and help. This speaks volumes as to the credibility and professionalism of Savour. I know the problems have been due to my inept, beginners lack of skill (I’m 68 and sometimes it takes a few times for me to learn these new-fangled gadgets.) I highly recommend Savour and their sous vide bags. If you have a problem, do not hesitate to contact these wonderful people as they are willing and able to help. With that alone, I would prefer to give them 10 stars, not just 5. From now on, I will only be using their wonderful products.

Alleviated my Sous Vide Fears
I was a little nervous to sous vide because I had zero equipment. Come to find out I can use a pot of water with a thermometer and these bags which self-vacuum. The instructions are crystal clear so they were easy to use. I was a little nervous my marinade would leak, but everything stayed in the bag. All came out well! The bags are washable (even dishwasher safe) so no unnecessary waste! This pack comes with bags of all sizes so you can sous vide a variety of foods. Yet another way to elevate your food game!

Good product
Great product for soups vide, plus awesome that they’re reusable. The only hard part was getting a good seal on one of the bags, but might just have been the one bc so far it’s worked great on all the others. I was provided this product as part of a campaign but opinions are my own.

Really want to like these, but ...
I really want to like these. The price was right, the sizes I need were included, and I especially like that the bags are reusable. If only they were usable in the first place, all would be well. It was easy to insert the food in the bag. Then I tried to "zip" the bag closed. One bag was easy; the next was not. I took the food out of the second bag, and put it in a third. Still couldn't get a good seal. After numerous tries, I got what MAY be an adequate seal. Getting the air out of the first bag was also easy. I'm not sure all the air is out of the second, probably due to an inadequate seal. I had thought from the product description that there would be an actual "zipper" to zip. There's not. You have to press on the closure to try to get a seal. Easier said than done.

Some of the Bags Leak Water and does not create an actual seal
So obviously this system does not create a true vacuum seal the way a chamber vacuum does (the most important step in actual sous vide cooking). Which is fine for the casual hobby cook, however this system does not even work as well as the ziploc method, let alone a food saver sealer. In some of the bags the seal lets in water which creates a disgusting mess. It also does not do a great job getting air out of the bags which is the most crucial part of cooking sous vide aka "under pressure". The bags also claim to be reusable, however they are so cheaply made that I can't possibly imagine it being hygienic or actually viable without ripping. Cool marketing and idea, but definitely not worth it. If you are a hobby cook who sous vides occasionally get a food saver...it'll come handy in other tasks too and it'll help keep your food fresh longer and safer.

These last and last with no danger of leaking.
I've had this set of bags for almost a year and I'm still on the first two that came out of the set. They have been used at least ten times each and there is no sign of wear or disintegration. The set comes with tubes that resemble short straws to facilitate removing air from the bag as it is placed into water. I've found these are not necessary. Just the small air outlet with a cap is all you'll need to expel air from the bag as it is immersed. All in all, this is one of the better purchases I've ever made for my kitchen and I highly recommend it if you are buying a sous vide immersion heater or if you're looking for something better than off-the-shelf plastic bags. These are also way less expensive and work just as well as vacuum sealers. One tip: Fold the plastic seal strips down so that they are protected as you fill the bag with the item(s) you are cooking. This keeps those seals clean and easier to completely seal at the start of the cooking process.

Unnecessary and a little hard to use
I thought this looked like a good idea and other reviews are favorable. But I'm just not feeling it. I like the simplicity of the straw, but it's annoying that I have to submerge the bag in water to seal it, only to take it out of the water (wet bag on the counter or taking up the sink) to preheat the bath. It's honestly not that hard to squeeze the air out of a general zip bag. I don't find them easy to clean, in that the residue from the food seems to cling more than in a Ziplock bag. Zip function is also not as good. They are hard to close properly.

Couldn't be easier to use!
I love to cook but have always been a bit intimidated about sous vide cooking. I also didn't want to invest in a vacuum sealer that I may not like or use again. The Savour Sous Vide bags were my answer! The pictures on the package demonstrated easy to follow, step by step instructions. I decided to try a simple london broil recipe for my first attempt. A few hours later my family enjoyed the most tender london broil we've ever eaten. The meat was perfectly and evenly cooked throughout and was tender enough to cut with a fork. I am excited to try other sous vide recipes and will definitely be using the Savour bags again.

Don’t seal.
These are low quality bags. Very very difficult to seal, in fact some wouldn’t seal at all because the zippers were uneven. Definitely not reusable because the food particles really stick to the bag interior. And the pipe for letting the air escape was unnecessary because submersing the bag in water works just as well. These are overpriced bags; ziploc storage or freezer bags are much better.
