This dress is made of thin material and its sheer in certain light, but it feels luxurious on your skin! It is fitted, showing every curve, so if that is not your intent, please go a size or two higher. The dress is LONG. I am 5'4", 150lbs and I wear a size Medium. It came to RIGHT to my ankles. I wore flip flops with it, there were no issues with it scraping the ground. The bottom of the dress is tapered closer to the leg, so there may be a lot of baby steps while you walk, i.e. your stride will be restricted. I still recommend it because its comfortable, and I would get it in darker colors to ensure the sheerness doesn't show all of my "hopes and dreams" to the world.
