Crayola Silly Scents Marker Maker

I did this activity with my 7nyear old and my 3 year old. Both loved it and had a great time. Still love to use the makers they "made" and the scents weren't nauseating.

Kids loved this! They just wanted to make markers all day and night. They liked seeing the way a marker was made and then using the marker they built.

I bought this several months ago because it was on clearance at a local store and I thought for $3.00 there was likely something wrong with it, but at that price it was certainly worth a try. Saved it for my daughter’s 7th birthday as a minor side gift. To say that it was a “hit” would be an understatement - what an amazing (and educational) DIY kit!! Everything worked smoothly and far better than expected. The markers are just as high quality as I’ve come to expect from Crayola, and they really are scented, creating great scratch and sniff stickers! Cleanup was an absolute breeze, as there was almost no mess to begin with and the rest just wiped away. I am now wishing I’d bought every set on that clearance shelf; I would have bought them for nephews, nieces, friends’ birthdays, you name it!! Well worth the $3.00 I paid, and I think $20.00 is actually a fair price too. I highly recommend this kit.

The purple tube of paint was missing the foil cover and the majority of the paint was gone. It had clearly been used by someone before I got it. There was roughly 1/4 amount of paint left in the tube. Very disappointing.

It didn't work well. Was very disappointed and so was my gradson
