Before I was using a regular mop with a regular mop head and it wasn't getting the job done. I was determined to get another mop. I looked at reviews on the Swiffer wet jet and on this mop, they were better reviews for this mop than a Swiffer wet jet, so I went and bought this mop. The first time using it I was excited. Not only did it get the job done it left my floor much shinier than a regular mop.Best mop ever!

I've been using a Swiffer Wetjet for years, and thought this Stainmaster mop would be better, but I was wrong.The stream of cleaning solution that comes out when you squeeze the trigger sprays too far for my liking. It also starts from a higher place on the mop, so it's easy to accidentally spray cabinets and furniture. My Wetjet sprays in a smaller arc, close to the floor.The trigger is activated by manually squeezing it. By the time I got to my third floor my hand was aching. My Wetjet is battery-operated (and they last for years), so a slight push of a button is all you need.I thought the washable pads were a great idea and save money over having to buy disposable ones. But they just didn't get my floor as clean.You have to keep the mop upright at all times, or the bottle leaks. All I wanted to do was remove the washable pad, but I ended up with detergent all over my hands and clothes.Overall, I'm not pleased, but two stars because the cleaning solution smells good.

And when spraying the liquid, I found it did not clean tiles as cleaning with steam only. Normally the steam should do all the work.The spray of steam comes out in spurts and was higher than my base boards and sprayed up on to the cabinets and the furniture.Not good. The cleaner comes in its own bottles to fit the machine..I am spoiled though, having used a hand held and wore them out, I went with a super duper steamer that holds 48 oz of water at a time, a hose that runs around 8-10 zillion feet (bg) and so full and hot it only needs one pass with steam some light cleaner to sanitize and leaves the marble tiles shiny and bright.However, I see a need for small clean up jobs that occurs with animals and my spilling a soda over and and over again ... I asked my hubby to test it in his Cave and have not seen it sense He likes it! And he is as messy as I am, so it does serve a purpose for a fast clean up.It is light enough to be of a convenience to use, but not for a full blown steam clean.I would recommend this spray mop but ... using a Swifter cleaning liquid, it does not leave a sticky film when dry.

Very easy to use. The pads are machine washable and hold up well. The solution included gets the floor clean but I use something different now that the supplied solution is gone. Floor still gets clean and smells like I want it to!!

Every square foot of flooring in our home is a white marble tile. There isn't a stitch of carpeting to be found. I have quite an intensive, almost to the point of being OCD, process when it comes to cleaning my floors. With that being said, when I do clean the floors, it takes forever. I don't use a mop to clean the floors. I use three different machines. I don't even own a mop. They spread bacteria and dirt over time. This is a great solution. If someone makes a bit of a mess on the floor (dogs track in mud, kids leave footprints after coming in from the pool, etc.) I don't have to get out a bulky machine and go through an entire process to clean a small area. This works perfectly for cleaning up small messes in between cleanings.This really does a good job of picking up dirt, grime, and spills that occur in spots from time to time in between thorough cleanings. The kit has everything I needed to begin using it right away. It definitely feels more durable than the similar product I had bought (another brand) a while back that broke after two weeks of use. I'm not worried about this one falling apart.The cleaner sprays nicely in an even spray so you don't end up making a mess of the spray when trying to clean up a mess from something else. I really am surprised by how well this picks up dirt and spills. I really like that I can wash the cleaning cloth (so I can sanitize it in the laundry) and I don't have to constantly buy refills in terms of the pad part of it.Overall, if you're looking for a solution to quick cleanups of your floors this is a great pick. I will definitely continue to use it as it has surpassed my expectations in terms of cleaning power. However, I do not suggest this be the only thing you use to clean your floors. If you want clean floors you also need a process/machine that sanitizes during regularly scheduled cleanings and then use this to pick up messes in between.

when i received the product, the solution was already leaked and the box was wet. There was no cleaning solution left in the bottle. The bottle is also not easy to take out and put in. every time i take out the bottle and put in, the solution leaks. Not a good design of spray mop.

Makes my mopping almost fun. Does a very nice job on my laminate floors as well as tile. Reasonably priced and does a great job. Highly recommended.

Put in a new stainmaster floor in the kitchen recommended using there products to clean it
