The Right to Shower Sulfate Free Body Wash, Hope, Aloe Vera + Dewy Moss, 16 Fl Oz

I came across this soap at a friend’s place as a bathroom handsoap. Loved the mild feel but found myself taking breathes from my hands afterwards. Made me feel calm and relaxed like the best aromatherapy. First time I ever told someone how much I loved their soap! I got a bottle of “Hope” right away and have used it as handsoap, body wash and shampoo since. Incredibly smooth texture, mild on the skin without dryness, leaves hair clean and manageable but also not dry, very rich lather. And then there’s the aroma. It’s a mild and not overpowering smell, but complex and hard to describe. It refers to moss and other nature fragrances—perhaps that’s where the calming effect for me comes from. Whatever it is, I’ll be buying again. The fact that all profits are going to give homeless persons the human dignity of cleanliness is just an amazing frosting on this great product. Well done, Unilever.

I'm generally pleased with these sulfate-free, paraben-free body washes: They have a clean scent and aren't drying. I use them as a hand wash and a body wash for their non-drying effects and fresh scents.However, the packing needs an upgrade (see the photos). Because the pumps hadn't been secured, the products I received leaked into the box. This is true of both bottles that I purchased: the Hope scent as well as the Dignity scent.The Dignity had been packaged inside a plastic bag before being shipped in a box, but a pretty good bit of the product still leaked inside the bag. :(Sellers who market pump-bottle products should take an extra step to secure the pumps. Many pump-bottle products that I purchase are secured for mailing by simply placing a piece of packaging tape over the still-locked pump. Yes, it's an extra shipping step, but the purchaser will then receive a full bottle of product.BOTTOM LINE: Good product. Poor packaging.

I love the scent more than anything about this body wash, but the quality of the ingredients are even better than most I've used. I wish Amazon still stocked it. They were the only ones who sold it at a decent price.

So I got this awhile back, and after trying it, I thought it was really nice. It does lather, but I think it could be a lot more, which would make me feel more comfortable. I do use this at least once a week, and overall, i'm fairly satisfied using it. No skin irritations and very easy to use from the pump dispenser. I hope the brand will expand and give us some new scent combinations to try. That would be awesome!

Leaves you clean and soft. Smells heavenly and washes off perfectly.

Wonderful soap! Didn't lather up extremely well if that makes any since. But that's most likely because it didn't have sulfates. It's formulated, to work head to toe (hair, face, body) so it makes perfect since. It rinses very easy, and doesn't leave skin dry! I would certainly buy again. And since it's a universal scent, you don't have to worry about the scent being overpowering.I really liked the mission and cause behind the making of this soap. Good way to support, a great cause!

I'm not sure what to make of this. I tried the Hope scent. The first bottle I ordered had a great smell, like fresh green plants after a rain shower. The scent didn't last very long after the shower, but my skin felt great and not dry. Then I ordered another bottle and it smells like my grandmother's pungent fake flower perfume. Way different than the first time. I'm not sure if it's inconsistency from the manufacturer, or if it's a fake product, but I did buy it from Amazon and not a 3rd party seller. The search for a good smelling, moisturizing, and fairly priced body wash continues.

The soap works well, it lathers and smells fresh. It’s not over bearing and it can be used by people with sensitive skin. The pump helped it last longer in my house hold
