Rentokil PWT100 Woodworm Treatment Fluid, Black, 1 Litre

Following an outbreak of woodworm beetle from logs stored in my garage, I applied this treatment to various timbers as a precautionary measure against egg laying. The fluid brushed on with ease, consistency and absorption were good, there was no overpowering odour, it dried clear, didn't alter wood colour and the drying time was fairly quick. One bottle covered quite a sizable area even though I liberally used the contents and clean-up afterwards was a doddle. Recommended for both prevention and protection immediately after woodworm beetle "flight season" has ended.

Works well, but you need to leave the sticky treatment untouched for 5-7 days Even if it spashes on the floor, leave it, as acts like a sticky trap for all inspects. You will actually see the wood ants stuck in the treatment, which is like a glue Recommend. It works.

Controls woodworm and wood rotting fungi. Apply with a brush and reapply in a few days if new holes have appeared. Some darkening of the treated wood with antique furniture. 1 litre treats 3 square metres of wood. Since treatment I haven't noticed any dust or new holes.

Easy to apply, but a bit messy, due to it being as thin as water. Covered quite a good sized area.

This was bought for Dad, who found woodworm holes, but no evidence it is a recent addition. He used it, and has so far had no problems with it.

Good stuff didn't smell horrible and went on the furniture very easily, no more trouble with woodworm in my chest of drawers I hope.

Bought this, painted it on. Virtually no smell. No sign of the little devils since so I assume it worked.
