This is a great gun. I am happy that Metabo continues to make the same high quality air guns Hittachi had been making. This gun is reliable and rarely jams in comparison to others. If I cleaned the grit out every time I used it I am sure it wouldn’t jam however, I don’t know anyone who does and these guns keep working. I really don’t think there is a better coil nailer manufacturer out there. If Metabo (Hittachi) makes the gun I need, that’s what I’ll be buying.

Nailer worked perfectly. Bought Metabo nails and oil to remove any variables. Only used it on 9 bundles but was happy. Never owned any other roofing nailer. The almost free impact driver swayed me. Plus I was previously a big Hitachi fan.

Works great if you take care of it. It you throw it at your labourer Or let him use it to install cap Or let him look at it Or let him oil it Or let them use it to install ice. It’s still going to be 300$ over priced. Great gun. But super over priced. Unless your a pro and even then, go to Canadian tire and get the master tachi ESPECIALLY for winter, who cares if you beat your labourer with a $120 gun. Costs more then that to send your Metabo into a shop just buy a new master tachi

I've borrowed these from time to time as I'm not a full time roofer. Carpenter by trade but end up doing the shingles whenever we sheet a roof. This gun is fantastic right out of the box. Oiled up and ready to go. 40 bundles on its first use and never missed a nail. The one and only time I thought something was wrong, my hose had a kink so I lost pressure. What a beast. Very pleased with this purchase.

Honestly. If you want the best gun on the market buy it. I’m a seasoned roofer who has tried budget guns to top of the line. And this is top of the line. Don’t question it it’s the best just buy it

Absolute garbage! I've been roofing for 16 years and buy a brand new Hitachi nailer every year. I love them. Since the name/company switch I've continued to buy Metabo Nailers but have been disappointed with every one of them. This last nailer is my deciding factor to never buy a Metabo nailer again. Today I did a 7 bundle side and had 5 curled nails in shingles, and 6 bent nails the nailer just spit out. I keep my nail guns clean and oiled so this is completely unacceptable. Especially for the price. It's time we all wake up and realize METABO IS NOT HITACHI.
