Installed and fit like OEM!
I installed these BBK 2546 Polyurethane Rear Coil Spring Isolator with new coil springs on the rear of my 1998 Ford Mustang. One of the old springs broke and I lost both upper and lower isolators from that spring. The isolators in stalled easily but I had to use small wire ties on the upper isolators to hold them in place during installation. I removed the wire ties once the spring and isolators where installed. So far I have had a nice smooth and quiet ride from the rear springs and isolators. I would recommend this product.

Graphite helps, Ride height effected, Do not over-grease
Effective Made in USA part. I have learned from experience that the graphite impregnated polyurethane is less prone to squeaking than straight polyurethane, even when greased. Some say that the graphite impregnated polyurethane is "softer" than straight polyurethane and if that is the case, I would prefer to take the slightly softer compound for anything but a strict race car. Driveability is a big consideration and most Mustangs are daily drivers. I think the point is that these BBK parts are an order of magnitude upgrade from the stock rubber isolators which are a very pliable rubber material that degrade quickly in service. My stock isolators were shot at 35K miles, especially the lowers. When I installed these BBK isolators, I over-greased both the upper and lower surfaces of each isolator with PTFE grease. The lower slipped off of its perch and got pinched on the between the spring and the control arm. I replaced both lower isolators with no grease and there has been no isolator movement since. In service, I have had no squeaking and no increase in road noise or vibration. I recommend that you combine these parts with good aftermarket control arms like I did. Both parts combined will provide a big increase in positive road feel and less rear end sway on turns.WARNING: These isolators will raise the car's rear ride height about 0.20" due to stiffness and thickness. This is not a criticism, just an engineering point to consider. I cut my Eibach springs 1/2 coil to compensate.
