This is an essential book to own if you enjoy interior design. Mr. Ross is a very talented designer and his work is beautiful. I enjoyed reading about the houses showcased in this book as well as looking at the exquisite pictures. I can't wait for his next book.

Classic Southern design captured beautifully in the photography. I gave this as a gift to my favorite Southern friend, who LOVED it. I highly recommend.

Eric Ross began his career in my hometown and I've been following his work delightedly for years. This book is full of his beautiful traditional interiors with soft colors and layered details. I only wish some of my favorite projects of his could have been included here (his previous Franklin home, his showhouse with the gorgeous Neo Toile covered doors, a bedroom lavished in Nanjing wallpaper and fabric, his Roostica Cottage in the mountains) but what's here is very good. My favorite story is the one about decorating for his niece, just because it seemed so personal. I like Ross' friendly style of writing (I read his blog too) and he has an approach to decorating that resonates with me, with a focus on very pretty but also very comfortable rooms.
