Hi, it is certainly the original. You will find most hairdressers have a huge mark up on products they sell. There are other sites that sell cheaper too but I always find amazon the best. Hope this helps.

How do you know which system to use

Luckily I had a hairdresser friend who told me, apparently system 4 is the most common. I wish I had found this product earlier, in 2/3 weeks I could tell and see the difference, all I can say is definitely give it a try, it's brilliant
