Great guide to teaching Elementary Math
Concise and clear guide for Waldorf math instruction with ideas that may also be applied in non waldorf settings. We homeschool and this is my main "teacher" math book for grades 1-5. This book is not very thick but contains enough info to teach from this book alone. A true gem.

I believe Jamie York really helps us to prepare students for algebra and he makes it so fun. Yes math is fun
I've only yet begun to explore this book but it's what Waldorf Education needs for teaching math in the lower grades. I believe Jamie York really helps us to prepare students for algebra and he makes it so fun. Yes math is fun!

Waldorf/Steiner homeschooling
I am homeschooling my children based on a Steiner/Waldorf pedagogy and bought this book for this purpose. A very interesting way of presenting maths in an active manner and not as a detached concept to children. Would help any children who are struggling with maths.

Informative
Informative, but not exactly what I was thinking it was going to be, but still good info! I just wish there were more "visuals"... but that's just me.

I love all Waldorf educational books
I love all Waldorf educational books, they are awesome. And this one is not the exception. My daughter is using it in school also because the teacher just loves it. :)

Great Math Resource
This is a really good math resource - whether you are really familiar with Waldorf methods or not. Quite practical from 1st through 5th.

Poor packaging
Seller sent the box in a plastic bag with one side of cardboard so it came bent. For an expensive book you’d expect them to at least package it well.

I found this book extremely useful as a resource for teaching math
I found this book extremely useful as a resource for teaching math. It presents a fresh look at how to make math the exciting adventure that it truly is, instead of a list of procedures and skills that must be covered each year. It helped me understand the importance of giving students the opportunity to discover for themselves the magic of numbers and how they work, instead of focusing on the memorization of blind procedures. I loved how this book shifted the focus of my lessons from procedural skill building, to building a math capacity- by placing the emphasis on developing a healthy sense of number, nurturing flexibility in thinking, and instilling a fearlessness for meeting new challenges. This book is a must have if you are looking for a paradigm shift in how to educate children in a healthy way, yet it is also full of practical examples and fun math problems that you can lift right out of the book and apply directly to your lessons. While the first part of the book gives you an overview of important educational principals to keep in mind, the second part of the book gives detailed curriculum summaries and lesson topics for planning your lessons in grades one through five. I would highly recommend this book for any teacher looking to deepen his or her understanding of math education in the lower grades. It has been a game changer in my teaching!

Excellent book and great service from Aindriyaa
Fantastic book as was expected. Very encouraging to note that Aindriyaa has an excellent collection of Waldorf materials. They were very responsive and excellent to work with. We received the book in perfect condition and pretty quickly despite the difficult conditions. Thanks team Aindriyaa. Highly recommend you!!
