This was super heavy! The case is amazing and heavy duty. The magnet was definitely strong. My husband loved it! Hes a man thats hard to buy for and this was a great gift for him!

That's one hefty magnet! We're having a summer of "adventure" and bought a few different magnets to play with. This one is the largest that we got. It's a bit heavy for me to throw but that just made my husband grin because he always gets to toss it! Worth every penny!

This is a good starting point for magnet fishing. It’s strong but the problem I had was dragging the bottom the magnet turns on its side. Works better straight up and down, near the boat docks etc. . I’ll be getting a more powerful one and one that’s double sided so it will contact when being dragged. Don’t be fooled, this is a strong magnet for its size! I got it stuck to the metal dock a couple times and had to have someone help me get it off! Use thread lock, it came off once but I got lucky. Had to keep tightening it.... I did find some interesting stuff with it, a spoon, a grill grate, lots of lures and miscellaneous..... buy one and try it!

My son and his children have been having alot of fun with this magnet but watch out it is strong so you have to watch what it comes into contact with.

Absolutely fantastic product. In no way was i disapointed. The pull force is strong...case and packaging spot on. Rope is superior for the job. Seriously...if you wondering if you should buy it...do you wont be disappointed.

I bought two of these kits, one for me and one a gift, and they look great but, its not as strong as they say. The magnet will drag on the bottom upside down where its not magnetic. The magnet will crack normally on the first day of use, or at least mine did. the magnet has to be flat on top of what your trying to pick up and clean of silt. Bad design is what it comes down to it.
