I love Gimbal’s Licorice Scotties
These licorice Scotties taste great. I will buy them again for my use. They are not perfect, however. In fact, I would believe that they are seconds. Many are imperfectly formed - missing tails, heads, or other parts of the Scotty. They are packaged in a clear plastic bag. As a gift, they would be lacking in ‘ambience’. For personal use, they taste good and the price is right.

Little Scotty's licorice
Where I live it is difficult to get little Scotties that's why I order them online. I received them extremely fast and was very happy with that. I was unhappy that they weren't fresher than they were the flavor was wonderful they were just pretty stale to a point of almost being hard.

Not the same as the original Gimbals black licorice Scotty dogs
For me these Scotty dogs do not taste like the original Gimbals Scotty dogs , I was told from Nutsnmore whom I purchased these licorice scottys from that jelly belly now owns the recipe , the taste of these licorice dogs taste like the licorice in the candy Goodnplenty, also a good licorice BUT DEFINITELY not the same . Nutsnmore did say I could return them for a refund I gave been unable to do so as Amazon will not produce the return label saying that the item can not be returned unless I contact the seller which I have , I have requested a refund repeatedly to no avail ..
