Sardine Pate 4X 22g Capsule | Portuguese Fish Pate Spread | Wild Sardines

Anyone that's been to Portugal knows that just about every restaurant puts a few pots of these on your table, with bread, for while you browse the menu. These are the ones. Every mouthful takes me back to Portugal. Perfect size as a snackette with bits of crusty baguette, which is what they're meant for, not as a meal. Excellent quality, fab taste, perfect texture and, although some may think the pots are small, they're perfect as an appetiser, so they are great value for money too.

My son raved about sardine pate when he came back from Portugal so I thought I’d try this. He says it’s exactly the same. We have it in Melba toast and it’s really nice. The portions are small but just enough for one serving . He likes it on crusty bread as well. It doesn’t smell overly fishy and is a tasty smooth pate . Will definitely buy again.

I have purchased a supermarket version of these which are absolutely delicious but couldn’t get them this year so opted to try these instead. Very expensive, almost £1 each for the tiniest portion of which you only get four and not a patch on the supermarket version although they tasted ok. I wouldn’t buy them again.

I love Portugal and these are offered at the table in most restaurants, I always bring a stash home with me, I’ve not been away since covid, so was over the moon to see these on amazon, as yummy as ever on crusty bread with black pepper.
