Classic Battletech: Historical Brush Wars (FPR35105) Paperback – August 21, 2006

Over all this source book wasn't that good. The Authors were trying to be clever with the writing, and it just didn't work. There is just to many miss spellings and grammatical errors, plus the authors have a tendency to not finish a thought and go off on a tangent then sort of come back to the original thought that is latter contradicted in just a few pages.

Lots of information for those that are playing Battletech/MechWarrior pre-clan timeline's . Myself I like the historical information and the stories in the book . So its great for everyone's use .

Very in depth and detailed. Lot of back story info on things that were never delved into too deeply prior to this book (especially Anton's revolt). Recommended highly!

One of the best Battletech products I've had the pleasure of owning. It helps fill in the gpas from the missing years between the 4th Succession War and the Clan Invasion. I particularly appreciate the section on the Ronin Wars. It was written in a refreshingly creative manner while still presenting useful information that I can use for a campaign I've wanted to do properly even since the 20 Year Update was released.
