The media could not be loaded. This set is the perfect solution to bring your bag back to life! The wheels are well made and come with bearings which make them much smoother and more durable than the originals... The hardest part is cutting off the old axles - luckily I had access to a drill press which made installation a breeze. The steps I followed are: remove the wheel assemblies from the bag... this is optional but it makes everything a lot easier... drill out the old axles... this is very easy but needs to be gentle so you don't damage the plastic part... push the old axle out with an awl or screwdriver... install the new wheels... tip: it's important that the side of the bearings is tight against the wall of the wheel assembly; otherwise the bearing will spin on the axle and not do its job. I put washers on both ends to make sure the bearing where tight. Install the new axle bolts... Tip: The bolts come with a blue mark on them which is a glue called "thread lock" to prevent the bolt from loosening... I added some more of this glue but I guess this is optional too. Thread lock is expensive but any glue should help to keep them tight... and finally reinstalled the wheel assemblies and bingo... my bag rolls much better than new!... The kit came with two different sizes of axles, 8 bolts, 12 washers, and a couple of allen keys to make installation easy... I was lucky to have access to a drill press but if you don’t have one don’t be discouraged... this is a job well worth the effort. In my case I save my bag for which I paid good money.. Works as expected and easy install. This is my second replacement wheels. 1st replacement eventually broke the outer rings on all four wheels. These new wheel appear to be softer material like a scooter wheel. Hopefully these can handle many bumps.

There are two lengths of axles included. It says this. I missed it. Had to undo one because of too much play for my comfort. This is cautionary. There is nothing wrong with the product. The extra washers that are included are also helpful for taking up extra slack. The wheels are super high quality and roll well. My friend noticed they are colored exactly like the Google Chrome logo! Pretty funny. Delightful product.

Remember to memorize/print the instructions on the product page when buying because none are included in the packaging.Installation is very easy. They provide the Allen keys to tighten the 'bolt'. Make sure you use the washers provided. It fit my luggage perfectly. I used on a trip recently, no problems, smooth rollin'The hardest part of the process is removing the old wheel - You'll need a hacksaw or drill with the right size bit to remove. I purchased these to replace the wheel on an older Samsonite under seat carry on. There was nothing wrong with the luggage, just needed to replace the wheels. The size is perfect, an exact match for the original wheels.Taking the old wheels off took some time, patients and a drill. Once they were off, the new wheels were easy to put on. My only issue, and a very minor issue, is that the covers for the wheel axles do not fit back on. The new screw heads for the axles are a little too big for the covers to fit. It does not impact the functionality of the wheels of the luggage, just the look.I have not used the luggage yet for travel, but pulling it around the house, it looks like the new wheels will stay in place without falling off.

My three TravelPro suitcase wheels fell apart the night before a major trip and I had to use our older Sharper Image set. When we returned I tried to buy replacement wheels from TP but they said to work with a local authorized repair shop. Their estimate started at $50 a case, depending on how long the fix would take.I found these wheels on Amazon and ordered three sets. I used my Worx cordless sawzall to remove the old wheels and these replacement wheels were a breeze to install. I was impressed that they gave me extra hardware per set. I highly recommend this product.My TravelPros now work better than new and these wheels will last a long time.

Perfect wheels! As many of the other reviewers stated, that hardest part is removing the old wheels so you have to use a hacksaw to cut through the old rivets. That was the most difficult part. The new wheels are waaaay better and more sturdy than the original samsonite wheels. Highly recommend!

I ordered these as replacement wheels for a large Samsonite suitcase. The seller offered several sizes and exact measurements, so I received exactly the right ones. I needed to cut each of the old wheels' axles. This was the hardest part for my bag as the axles were pressed together (one could use a Dremel or other type cut off tool or a hacksaw). I cut away some of the damaged rubber on the original wheels and used some pliers to hold them while I cut them. Other bags might be easier depending on the axle. The new axles were included and both they and the new wheels fit perfectly. I do not know how long these will last but they seem very sturdy. They will be easy to replace in the future as the replacement axles screw together/apart. My bag works and looks like new for a very reasonable price.
