Victron Energy Lynx Shunt IP22 VE.Can 1000 amp (M8)

I've set up victron stuff in my home as well as a few other places, automobiles and boats. This stuff is top notch. I knock on wood, have not had a piece fail and it's fairly efficient and integrates into just about anything I want to throw at it. No complaints whatsoever if you have a custom project or just something basic that you want to build and last forever. This is more expensive than most but you really get what you pay for. It's set it and forget it

I’ve invested and a true believer in Victron products this charger was relatively simple to install and worth the money. We’re traveling full time and having the extra current while traveling allows me to keep our Domestic refrigerator running on 120vac with our Multiplus II inverter/charger if we have little solar. Just remember to program your software so you don’t drain your tow vehicle battery the first night like I did.

Didn't work. Never worked. This $350 paperweight is a sight to behold. Too bad it can't even report battery voltage, much less all the fancy stuff it is supposed to do (State of Charge, Current Draw, and a million other fancy reports. Don't waste your time. Don't waste your money. There is no customer support from Victron! They have a user forum where you can post and plead for help. You might get some. You often get nothing. There is NO participation from Victron on the forum. No place to call. This equipment is designed and produced in the Netherlands. This is appropriate as the is Netherhelp to be had.

The Victron Lynx system make everything easy to install and monitor. The only thing you need to remember is to order a fuse. It does not come with one.

Works well, easy to install, convenient integration with existing Victron Lynx components.

There is nothing to add to the general professionals opinion about VICTRON ENERGY products. You don't need to be a rocket scientist to set it up and do your configs. There are cheaper products in the field but experience proofs; buy cheap, buy twicre.

Der shunt ist gut, aber nicht wirklich preiswert. Achtung, der Verkäufer VOLTACON ist in England und deshalb kommen noch 20-30% an Zoll und Einfuhrsteuern in die EU dazu. Das gibt der Verkäufer (absichtlich) nicht an!!!

I love victron great product. However many newer lithium batteries mean the BMS may eliminate the need for this shunt?. I dont know if Victron choose there retailers or not but I certainly will never use this one again.
