what size should I order? My daughter foot is 9” long

9" is about 228mm and that makes the shoe size 6 in women's size so I would recommend size 5 but please know that these are training shoes for martial arts and they need to fit snuggly to prevent from coming off doing kick practices. The sizing chart here are based on men's so if your daughter wears normally size 6, then you need to choose size down for this one. Thanks.

No you shouldn't. I did that and I should have went a size bigger, not smaller.
