PORTER-CABLE 43743PC 13/32-Inch Carbide-Tipped Dovetail Router Bit

Don't know how long it will stay sharp but it cuts very clean

Tool is exactly what I needed to make dovetail drawers. I holds it's edge over many drawers and cuts with minimal tearout.

Was looking for one to fit my De Walt dovetail jig and found that this one from Porter Cable was an exact match for what I wanted as various De Walt dealers said they were no longer available for my DE jig which is probably 15 years old.Perfect match and dovetails to date have been excellent.Fast shipping to New Zealand so couldn't fault the service or product.

I ordered this bit because I had somehow misplaced the bit that came with my Porter Cable dovetailing jig. The bit works well, and I have absolutely no complaints about it, but I can tell that it is going to dull much faster than some of my better - and far more pricey - bits from Whiteside. For more than occasional use, but less than everyday use, this bit is just great. If you're going to use it everyday or for a business, I would look to a top-end router bit.

I am sure the router bit works as expected, but I haven't used it yet. The Porter Cable box joint template suggested it didn't come with this bit and when it came it was in the package. I guess that is a bonus and disappointment all at the same time.

Needed for Porter Cable dovetail jig to do dovetails with. I have built 6 drawers with it and so far everything looks as it should.

Worked as expected.
