If this wasn’t a children’s book, I would have a slight problem with the few times the book went into “previously on” mode but I say that I’m giving it a pass because of it being a children’s book and because the books were published months apart.I tell ya, I would have appreciated the “previously on” in some books I’ve read.I love the new cover for this book, I love that Tigerclaw is the cat featured here and the art just captures that creepy killer vibe that I get from him while reading.I get so caught up in the story and even though I know what’s going to happen, I still get anxious feelings when the tension builds. This is why I love re-reading good books, I get all these feelings back and remember why I loved them.This series may be the only children’s books that I enjoy and will re-read over and over again.The pace is excellent for the plot, there’s quite a bit going on in the story but the authors give equal time to all of it. They really know how to pull at your heart strings as well.

My 9 year old loves these books. Unfortunately, a little too much – I had to purchase this book to replace a library book that we checked out but was not returnable due to damage. These are rated at 5th to 6th grade reading level, which is about where my son (in 3rd grade) reads at, it is difficult to find books at his grade level which are interesting and challenging for him, which is why I turned to the warrior series.We will be purchasing more of Ms. Hunter’s books, and can wholeheartedly recommend.

This is the 2nd book in the Warriors series, which I’m slowly acquiring and rereading. I really enjoyed this book and following along Fireheart and his clanmates on their adventures. I don’t think it was as good as the first book, and it was definitely a bit slow at parts, but all the characters just have a really special place in my heart, so I still did enjoy it pretty thoroughly. I think my favorite part of this book was just continuing to watch the relationship between the cats develop. Friendships are being tested, there might be a traitor within the clan, etc etc. This book and the whole series is a great one to get me out of a reading slump pretty quickly. I was reading another book at the same time as this one, and when I found myself not really feeling like picking up the 2nd book up as much, I read a little bit of this one, and it motivated me to pick up the other one again. They are also really short books, around 300 pages, and I like reading them on and off between my homework/class work I need to be doing. 10/10 I love this series.

These were some of my daughter's favorite books when she was young, and she recommended them to all her friends.. She made me buy each new one in hardback the moment they came out, which wasn't cheap. She hung on to them for ages, until parting with them as a young adult. When I saw this series was on the Kindle and on sale, I had to buy them for nostalgia's sake and for her to read again. I will reading them myself at some point.

My 12 year old daughter loved this book so much she cried... literally. And this is the kid who'd far rather spend her days watching youtube videos than reading! She devoured this entire series in less than a week, total reading time. Took longer to get the doggone thing in the mail than it did for her to read it, she loved it so much! I've been enjoying it myself. It's accessible, a quick read, and adorably fun with sharp claws and fangs. Read it! Now!

Gift for oldest daughter (12), similar storytelling and author to the Wings of Fire dragon series. She voraciously consumes these and loves them; surprising that the Kindle collection is $15 more than the paperback box sets.

I don't know, because after waiting forever (ok it was Christmas time but still) I finally got .... the wrong book.The receipt inside was the Fire and Ice book but the book itself was another one.I think I don't have to tell you the disappointment of my daughter who in the first place should have gotten it for Christmas anyway...Not happy, even I got the refund but NOT happy!

Being an adult who enjoys a good crime thriller, I felt I really shouldn’t be enjoying what is primarily a children’s book as much as I did ! However I loved the story line and got quite caught up in the lives and struggles of the cats. I think any cat lover, child or adult would enjoy the “Warriors “ series.

Absolutley amazing book. This was even better than the first one and totally wowed by the description of it. The warrior cats books are great for older children and teenagers, and you'll soon be hooked! Grestripe and Silverstream are the ultimate cutest couple, I have to say, and Fireheart is more noble and awesome than ever! I recommend reading this book after you have read the first one or else it might be confusing to you, but fans of Fireheart and Greystripe will not be disapointed!
