Great stepping stool.
I loved this book. It gave just enough information. Since it is so cheap I will want to get another more expansive book on the temperaments. But this really was easy and short enough to get a good understanding.Would recommend to someone who wanted to start learning about the temperaments. If someone has a more expansive book on temps, please reply."I don't believe people are looking for the meaning of life as much as they are looking for the experience of being alive."

The subject matter was all new to me. So, I have been struggling with the vocabulary. So... Many words to look up in dictionary. The sentence structure is really formal like it was in the early 1900's and difficult for me to follow.

Disappointed in the book
This book much to my amazement was only a pocket book about the size of a photograph and about 25 pages. Disappointed in the book, but was shipped fast and in new condition

Simple and straightforward
I liked the fact the the author was able to express and explain in details how to manage the four temperaments. How to recognize them and how to enhance them. Short book. I wish it lasted longer

Weird book
If you are trying to learn about the four temperaments as understood by Rev Conrad Hock, the Steiner book is not a good supplementary resource! It even mixes up the "humors." Weird!

This is a great purchase and a very good intro into the subject
A very interesting and clearly written little book. I wanted to know more about Rudolf Steiner's thoughts on the four temperaments. This is a great purchase and a very good intro into the subject. When I say 'intro' I mean that it gives you just the right amount of information to understand the subject matter. There will be many other books out there about the four temperaments but nothing so simple and easy to read as this. So a good starter and go read the deeper books if you want to go into the subject matter further. I would thoroughly recommend purchasing this book first.

Human Temperaments Explained
This simple and straight forward Steiner book is an easy to follow introduction to human temperaments and personality types. It is short and bite sized yet has enough detail to stand alone. I decided to supplement the examples of each temperament given by a simple online search of Steiner web sites. I would recommend this book to anyone starting out on a study of human behaviour and particularly to teachers hoping to provide individual learning strategies to pupils according to their temperaments.
