Totally got some screws, they're brass, I'll be gentle and if they bend it's definitely my fault.

will discolor the part you use it on.
The screws seem good quality, but will leave a black/green film on whatever you screw them into. They are very dull brass color (maybe high Cu % or high Pb content?).
