Great for Post-ACL surgery
So happy I bought this. It's been just what I was looking for after my ACL reconstruction.Easy to put on and the pump enables me to apply good compression around my knee to reduce the swelling.Much better than the velcro wrap arounds I was using previously.Highly recommended

THINK HARD....THINK TWICE
Dislocated my shoulder joint. Wore the arm sling supplied by the hospital for two weeks and decided to purchase this for some speeding up of the healing. Its a well made shoulder cuff .Made from durable material. I think its a bit OVER ENGINEERED .You CANT put it on yourself as its heavy with the frozen gell pack attached and the strap that goes around your back needs an assistant to velcro it. The pump up compression system on the one I recieved has the bulbous pump inflator with a button on it to release the compression Like your doctors blood pressure tool and you know it does not deflate till your arm is turning blue and then he presses the button and you go PHEW. Maybe its just the one I recieved but you dont need that release button as the compression that you need dissappeares very quickly and I am constantly pumping air into it for the compression you need to drive the ice therapy into the shoulder. You soon get well browned off and annoyed with this. There is another valve (not shown in the pictures with on and off stitched in red embrodery. This is not even shown in the little instruction page supplied .It is mentioned in that it says (pump it up and then close the valve) Ive done this, or an assistant has done it but even in the off position it still deflates. You need someone to do this for you as its impossible to reach around and do it yourself, thats why this valve is not shown in the instruction pics. I messed about wih the settings on this to no avail When in the off position it only means the hand pump is disabaled. The on position only allows the hand pump to pump air into the cuff, which as I say only stays compressed for about ten seconds even with the other valve turned to off. I hate writing bad reviews. You sound like a real moaner, but it is what it is. I would have been better sticking to the quality sports ice packs my rugby playing son in law gave me. Maybe I just recieved a Monday morning faulty one. I dont know whether to send it back or not. If they are all like this I could not recommend it to anyone, Hence the two stars, it nearly got (one) instead.

Needs more product development
Dear Alice, "Professor Z",While you are curious about my feedback, I am irritated and rather perplexed at your reply:- Why would I try to walk on an injured foot with your appliance on it? What a strange assumption! Why would I spend that amount of money on a product only to use it inappropriately? I find your assumption patronising and inadequate.- I have a serious injury and was looking for a product that is supportive and healing. Your Medibrace does not meet these criteria.- Essentially, you need to include wee sponge pieces so that tender and injured parts of the foot are protected against the ridges in the construction.I hope this is useful in the development of your new products.Regards,

Great producy
Very good for my broken wrist inflammation. Lasts about 20 mins. Can pump it up to get right compression

Easy to use.
I found this helpful in reducing the inflammation of my medial collateral ligamental. It’s easy to fit - I add a cool pack underneath the knee as well to cool the whole knee. Unfortunately the cuff developed a leak and did not keep the pressure on the knee so reduced from 5 stars to 2

Avoid. Not a proper compression boot.
Avoid. You end up with a tourniquet around your lower calf instead of proper all round compression. Not fit for purpose. This will be going straight back!
