I have 4c hair, never liked gel and they never worked, all water based and would never lay my hair so I stopped trying. With this I dont even have to put a scarf on to set it unless using on a bigger area of my hair. Very impressed didnt think it would work, purchased second bottle already, and the little jar goes a long way!!

I think this product would work wonders for someone else but my coarse coils refuse to lay down. I have yet to see a product that can lay down my edges that I don't have to reapply daily.

THIS STUFF IS BOMB!!! The Doux is a great brand and a little goes a long way. For my hair texture this works really well. Especially when I use their other products along with this. This company sells out fast, so when you see something available, PURCHASE IT!

Container is smaller than I expected but I guess it’s because a little goes a long way. It has a pleasant smell, not overpowering. The texture is pretty thick, kinda tacky but does not leave a residue or start to melt down your face. Has good hold. Overall good product, but kind of pricey.

This product not only has the ability to lay my edges, it lays my hair down while in a ponytail.
