NO PICS!! :-(
It be a LOT nicer if it had pictures to go with the recipes but it has NONE I didn’t expect any pictures at all... bummer... I’m a visual person and I go by pics so that’s why one reason a star was taken away and the other is cause there isn’t a lot of recipes it’s a small book good part is it’s easy to read which I love and very much LOVE the design of the book how they dedicated 2 pages to each recipe I like very very much in stead of trying to save pages by putting several recipes on one page but that being so it makes the book look bigger than it truly is...it really doesn’t have as many as you would hope for but I’m overall okay satisfied with my purchase for the money pls pls add pics to recipe books!!

No pictures
No pictures, it’s hard to know if you’re doing it right with 1 sentence instructions and no pics. Spread a 2 inch swath of avocado...but where? Do all the ingredients get piled on top of each other? Spread across? Theres not a lot of detail, lots of “follow directions on package”

Best guide forever!
Making beautiful, fresh and delicious sushi at home doesn’t have to be a mystery any longer. With the right raw ingredients, a few specialised tools. Stores. If you love sushi as much as we do, you are going to enjoy preparing these recipes right in your home kitchen! I chose that from Amazon and purchased. I'm satisfied with this well contain guidebook. Thanks for the Author. In here traditional sushi as well as modern adaptations, raw fish (sashimi), cooked items, thin and fat rolls, handrolls and the all-important sushi rice which is the basis for just about everything. The majority of these recipes contain the same essential ingredients. As you progress to the more complex combinations of flavours and more difficult methods, you will be looking for and adding additional items to your ingredients list — an overall best guidebook for everyone.

Nice book!!
I have a reverberation in my family room and it works splendidly. It does all that I inquire. Interestingly, I can tell Dot precisely what I need or need - while I am proceeding with my work in the meantime.

Needs pictures!
There is some good information in this book, but a picture is worth a thousand words when it comes to explaining how to put together types of sushi. Better information online.

prescribe everything on point.
We'll cover ordinary sushi similarly as present modifications, rough fish (sashimi), cooked things, unstable and fat rolls, handrolls and the exceedingly indispensable sushi rice which is the purpose behind basically everything.I prescribe to all .

Excellent recipe book
I bought the kindle version of this book and it has a clean layout which is easy to follow. It goes from basics like what ingredients are required for sushi generally to how to make different types of sushi like "Gunkan Maki" also it includes nice tips when you are cooking the different types of sushi and instructions. You can as well see the estimate how long it takes to make + how many rolls you can make out of the ingredients which is useful if you want to cook for more people than yourself.I recommend this to people who are into sushi or want to learn how to make sushi.

All of the ingredients are readily available in your kitchen except for fish portions and it is not just about raw fish there is is cooked recipe section as well covering Fried squid and hot tuna temaki. Highly recommended!

No pictures- just text: be aware!
The front cover is beautiful- it's what drew me to the book in the first place. However, as soon as I opened it I was disappointed. The instructions are well written, but there aren't any pictures to accompany these wonderful recipes which would have brought the whole book to life. The text itself is big enough to make for an easy read which is great but if you want inspiration you might be better off simply Googling with the hope to find a picture that accompanies the recipe you decide to attempt.

It is an excellent source for all types of sushi. If you're interested in making sushi, this is a must-have book. I'm just starting out to discover Sushi, this book inspired me to try many new recipes.

Text only, and as a book, it feels a bit cheap and tacky. Not exactly a 'Bible'.
I'll say right at the outset that the reason for my 1-star review is because this book has no illustrations whatsoever. For me, that's a complete and utter 'no-no' in a cookbook.Ideally, I want to see pictures of every dish - partly to help me make up my mind if I want to try it, and partly to show me what my end result should look like.Maybe the recipes in this book are wonderful. Maybe the instructions are crystal-clear and self-explanatory. I'll never know. In the absence of any pictures, there's nothing here to inspire me to try any of these dishes. The book will either go into the bin or to a charity shop.THANKFULLY at the same time that I bought this alleged 'Bible' (which, by the way, is rather thin and printed on cheap paper, for a 'Bible') I ALSO bought Sushi Made Simple by Atsuko Ikeda. This was a beautiful book, with excellent illustrations of various ways to make sushi, and also stunning pictures of the end results. And the recipes are definitely do-able, unlike too many books. If you're like me and like to see what you're supposed to be making, that's the book I'd recommend, not this one.
