A helpful lab manual
I'll say upfront that I was one of the technical reviewers for this book. However, that didn't affect this review.I have earned many of my certifications through self-study. Usually, that involved reading a book many times and taking practice exams, until I felt that I was ready for the exam. Rarely did I do any hands-on labs. I sure wish I had a lab manual like this one! It walks you step-by-step through the material you need to know to prepare for your Network+ exam. It's nice that all the necessary software is free - certification guides and practice exams aren't cheap! Well done and highly recommended.

Want to pass your CompTIA Network+ exam? Get this book!
I highly recommend this book if you want to prepare for the CompTIA Network+ exam and actually understand the materials. The book covers what you need to know. Paul makes sure you understand the concepts, not just the exam, and more importantly how to be a good Network Technician. You will learn what you need to be effective in your career. The book is easy to follow, and provides plenty of knowledge, hands-on, as well as insights into the actual exam. The material is clearly presented, and there are great exam tips, and in-depth explanations of each topic.

Great help book
I do not do much networking and this book along with the labs will make things so much easier to understand. You do need to do the labs to help lock in the knowledge from the Network information and the labs. I really wish I had had this book when studying for the Network + test . The book I used was the popular and was very dry and harder to keep on track. This author manages to keep your interest. I have read the subnetting written by this author and found is very easy to understand.

Not like the other 101 Lab Books
Even though this seems good it isn't organized like the other 101 Lab Books I have read before. 101 Labs Network+ version was categorized by CompTIA objectives, however this was not which made it harder to follow.
