Character Make-up Kindle Edition

I don't yet own this book, but I hope to soon. I had to borrow it to do a book report for a class and now I simply must buy a copy for myself. I think it should be included in any make up designer's library as a tool. It contains tons of useful information, tips, and techniques for an artist to achieve desired results. Also includes step by step processes for executing designs.

I am an amateur makeup artist so I am teaching myself and this book is a great place to start . Step by step instructions with pictures (I can't tell you how many books I have purchased that didn't feel pictures were necessary and they weren't cheap) and so much they I had read before now made total sense after reading this book. It also includes a ton of info making blood and ice effects which I haven't seen before. D Definitely happy with this book. I can't what to start the process against again with a much clearer picture

As a makeup hobbyist, it's always hard to find a book that is straight forward enough to not rely on specialist knowledge but at the same time advanced enough to offer insights and an expansion on techniques to make it useful and inspirational. This book does just that - designed for students it covers the basics through to the gory advanced fun stuff, complete with possibly the best description and photographic sequence for creating full facial prosthetics I have seen.A fantastic book for anyone interested in film/stage makeup techniques in a practical manner - clear descriptions and photos of each stage means it's easy to follow and replicate. Obviously you can't expect to be an expert immediately but this book and practice can get you pretty close.Another benefit? It's available as a Kindle book so easy to keep at hand incase you should need to refer to it while doing makeup :-)

I have several books related and this is one of the best... If I could have it in paper, certainly I would but mostly, I'd love it to have this book in my own language and with the products available in my country! Nevertheless, excellent book!
