Good item
I've used this yeast for 5 or 6 years, without problem, so recommend it for bread making.

Excellent quality + fast delivery
I was looking for a very active yeast and this hasn't disappointed. Great for bread making and enriched dough. It does add a slightly yeasty taste but it's not over the top and, besides, who wants rustic homemade bread without that! It's a big pack so chill some in the fridge and freeze the rest.

The Yeast That Never Sleeps
This Fermipan yeast is so active, I half expected it to rise up and bake the bread itself. Opened the pack, and my dough puffed up like it just heard good news. Bakes like a dream—just keep it away from lazy yeast, it’ll hurt their feelings.

Great stuff
I've been using this product for over a year in my breadmaking and its excellent. Cheaper to buy in bulk, can be stored in cupboard or freezer, lasts for months with no deterioration.

works, but might require recipe changes
My usual supermarket yeast (Sainsbury's) works great, but I got tired of dealing with the small packets, it being out of stock, substitutions in our online delivery, etc. so I decided to try this instead.I have a Panasonic SD-2500 breadmaker and only make the basic white loaf. As long as I use good flour and my usual yeast it turns out perfect pretty much every time. When I tried this yeast however, the loaves kept coming out flat on top and with a reduced volume (see first photo). I tried both reducing and increasing the yeast but it made no difference. I couldn't figure it out, until I looked at the ingredient listing for both the Sainsbury's yeast and Fermipan. The Sainsbury's yeast contains ascorbic acid and alpha amylase, while Fermipan contains neither. So I added about 1/4 of a crushed 1000mg Vitamin C tablet to the recipe, and got much better results (see second photo). I also increase the yeast from 1 tsp to 3 tsp to ensure a better rise (although with the Vit. C I don't know if this is necessary - will try reducing it and see what happens).I have seen several reviews from people with similar problems with this yeast in their Panasonics - so if you have the problem try adding some Vitamin C powder. As for the Fermipan yeast itself - well I can't say it's brilliant for my specific machine/recipe, but that doesn't mean there is anything wrong with it. It just means that you have to know what you are doing. It is certainly better value than small packets, and after a few more trials if I'm still happy I will keep buying this instead.

In use as I type
This is good yeast, I have used the usual stuff from supermarkets over the years and needed some more as I make bread reasonably often. This will be the second batch of loaves I've made using this yeast. If seems to activate quite quickly and as I type there is a mixing bowl full of dough that looks like it is making a bid for freedom as it is growing nicely in the bowl. From the previous loaves I can say that I got lovely tasting well risen uniform bread, can't ask for more. I will definitely buy this again.

Excellent reliable dried yeast for bread making
I’ve been using this for bread making since the pandemic started - and it has been consistently excellent. Doesn’t have the stronger flavour of some of the branded powdered yeast you might buy in the supermarket and it lasts really well once opened. Wouldn’t use anything else, frankly.
